Akki's link with animated characters!
Akshay Kumar seems to have a strange connection with Hollywood's animated characters! His film Thank You releases the same day as Rio, a comedy-adventure. Rio is made by the makers of Ice Age and that's where the Khiladi's links get a bit strange. Ice Age 2 and Akshay's Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye released simultaneously on April 14, 2006. In 2009, Ice Age 3 and Kambakkht Ishq released on July 3! Hopefully, the animated characters will bring Akki luck too!
Coloured expletives
Preeti Desai, who makes her debut in Shor In The City had to speak the Mumbaiya lingo and even mouth expletives in the Balaji film. Though not well versed in Hindi, the former Miss Great Britain found herself using foul language even in daily conversation. While watching the cricket match, she ended up potty-mouthing all her friends much to their shock! Wonder what names she calls beau Abhay Deol?
They cheer, david makes a face
Sanjay and Maanayata Dutt held a World Cup cricket bash at their Pali Hill home. Among the guests were Mallika Sherawat, David Dhawan and wife Lali. The women seemed to have enjoyed themselves cheering aloud, tricolour in hand.
