Apparently the Hindi version does not have any takers because Gautham's recent release 'Ek Deewana Tha' failed at the box office.
Following the reports that Ram had walked out of the film, it was said that Jiiva had bagged the offer. But, Jiiva has now confirmed that he is not doing the Telugu version.
The star said that the Tamil version is being filmed at the moment and he is very busy with it.
Jiiva, however, refused to disclose who would be doing the Telugu version of Gowtham Menon's Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham.
Gautham Menon's ambitious trilingual, to be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi has suffered a setback. Jiiva, Ram and Aditya Roy Kapoor were roped in to play the lead roles and Samantha was the lucky heroine who was to be in all three versions.
Ram apparently has opted to leave the project.
The reason is that Ram was kept waiting while Jiiva and Aditya finished shooting the scene in order. He felt that he was wasting his precious time and decided to walk out.
Gautham had timed the shoot so that the actors could perform in order of seniority but Ram following his recent hit, Kandireega is big news in Andhra Pradesh and did not take kindly to this treatment.
Now Gautham is wondering who will be willing to step in at the nth hour.
Jiiva has quite a fan base following even in AP ever since the dubbed version of Ko as Rangam went on to score at the box office, so he might just do the Telugu version as well.

Samantha has to repeatedly perform the same scene every day of the shoot with all her male costars Jiiva, Ram and Aditya Roy Kapoor. It is very challenging for her to do the same thing thrice and to bring something fresh to the portrayal.
The petite charmer is exhausted and apparently doesn't have time for anything even to have a proper meal!
Samantha is thriving under the pressure because Gautham is her favorite director and he gave her a big break with Ye Maya Chesave, which was the Telugu version of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya.
