Ileana's Bollywood career takes off !


Southern sirens have a track record for doing well in Bollywood.
 
Vyjayanthimala, Hema Malini and Sridevi are yesteryear heroines who made it big in Bollywood. Recently Asin has joined these ladies with her clever career moves and Taapsee. Kajal Agarwal, Tamannah, Shruthi Haasan and Ileana are other famous actors down South who look promising to make it big in Bollywood.

Ileana, the slender hottie from Goa joins the Bollywood league by making her debut with Barfi featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

The trailer of 'Barfi' is out and Ileana has made an impact already. She has also landed a big project with Shahid Kapoor to be directed by Rajkumar Santhoshi.

Looks like Ileana is all set to give the Bollywood Queen Bees some tough competition!

Sakthi Chidambaram's 'Machan'

'Machan' as the name suggests is an upcoming comedy directed by Sakthi Chidambaram with Karunas and Vivek in the lead. The director is producing for the film himself under his banner 'Cinema Paradise' since the 2010 comedy Guru Sishyan.

Sakthi Chidambaram has roped in Sheryl Pinto, who appeared in Arasangam and Vaadaa to play the lead heroine opposite Karunas after having associate with other buxom actresses like Namitha and Sruthi Prakash AKA Hema Malini in his previous ventures.

Speaking of buxomness, the director ended all aroused speculations revealing that actress Namitha, who has appeared in several of his previous films is being closely associated with 'Machan' and is playing a pivotal role in the film romancing Vivek after a brief period of action.

While announcing the cast of the film Sakthi Chidambaram announced that he would also be acting in the film alongside his duties as director and producer bringing Kannada Actor Ramesh Aravind back to Tamil films since Manmadan Ambu (2010).

Esha Deol engaged ..

Esha Deol got engaged to businessman Bharat Takhtani at a very private ceremony at Hema Malini’s bungalow in Mumbai. Only very close family and friends were invited to this engagement ceremony. Notable among those who attended this event was Aishwarya Dhanush.

Esha is the daughter of Bollywood star couple Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Her debut film was Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe for which she won the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. She has Ghost Ghost Na Raha, Raaz 3 and Kaanch - The Broken Glass in her kitty right now.

Speaking about the engagement, Hema said that it went off well and she finds her future son-in-law a very handsome guy. She added that the wedding date has not been finalized yet and once this is done she would make an announcement.

Hema Malini is obliged

Salman Khan has surely got the Midas touch and everyone wants to count on his success. However, the Khan who is riding high on the success of his Box-Office hits still believes in helping people around. And, Salman doesn't fail to lend a helping hand to Bollywood's dream girl in her venture ‘Tell Me O Khudda’.

Hema Malini is busy promoting her daughter and it seems that the industry is all set to help Esha Deol in her comeback. Salman Khan is seen in one of the promotional songs of the movie and on being asked about his presence, Hema quickly explains, “It was Salman, who approached me and also told me that he will be ready to help me in Tell Me O Khudda. I was so happy with his gesture.”

Esha is keeping her fingers crossed for the movie. Excited about the song, she says, "Salman and I have worked together in the past too. He is a great guy and he himself told mummy that he will be there to help in the project.”

It's not only Salman, but also Shah Rukh Khan who is more than willing to support the project. Despite his busy schedule, King Khan graced the occasion of the music launch of 'Tell Me O Khudda'.
