Taapsee confessed on Twitter about being nervous and excited about beginning work on her 14th film that she is all kicked and geared up to shoot. Given the high voltage nature of the project, the gorgeous actor mentioned that she felt butterflies in her stomach like that of a debutante.

Vishnuvardhan’s shoot for 'Surangani' is happening at a fiery pace and Ajith has already started making the city go abuzz with his new looks.

Though there were rumours that Ajith is playing the role of a hacker, the makers have denied such reports.

Now the news is that actor Suman Ranganathan making a come back into acting in films with this much awaited film and is playing the role of a nosy journalist. Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar and Rana Daggubatti are also playing pivotal roles in the film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film and P.S Vinod is behind the lens with Nayantara and Keerthana Parthipan assisting Vishnuvardhan in the direction department.

The film can be expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.

Ajith is getting slim and trim for his next movie with Vishnuvardhan and his gym workout stills have received widespread response from his fans.

Even his co-star in the film Nayanthara, is amazed by the star's looks.

Nayantara admits that Ajith looks the same as he was in 2007 when they worked together in Billa, and that he has become slimmer.

The actor who is making a come back with Vishnuvardhan's 'Surangani' opposite Ajith feels that her co-star is still youthful and admires the star for his dedication and commitment towards his profession.

A professional of an actor that she is, Tapsee has been communicating with her beloved fans for a very long time via the micro-blogging website Twitter.

The actor has been tweeting every now and then keeping her fans updated about her experience while shooting at Ladakh.

A short while earlier, a Buzkashi sequence was filmed. Buzkashi is the National sport of Afghanistan played on horseback.

Taapsee was reported to have been apprehensive initially but later chose to give in her best and enjoyed the adrenaline rush. It was a risky sequence given the altitude they were shooting at and the number of horses used.

The lovely lass whose future Tamil projects include Maranthein Mannithein and Vishnuvardhan's next with Ajith has now tweeted about her latest adventure in Ladakh.

Karthika has proved to be one gutsy young lady walking out of Sundar C's next film with Vishal, Madha Gadha Raja AKA MGR. The rookie's move may have stunned the industry but Sundar C, the veteran who is riding high after the success of Kalakalappu has opted to rope in Taapsee Pannu for the role without wasting any time.

"The script was revised and my character had no scope to perform than merely be a glam doll. Moreover a second heroine had also been included," said Karthika about opting out of MGR.

"I would work with Sundar C in the future if he came up with something interesting," she added.

Sundar C's MGR has been confirmed to be a two - heroine project and the other heroine's part is likely to go to Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar who is making her debut with Poda Podi or a newcomer.

Taapsee seems intent on making it big in the Tamil Industry and has accepted the role that was earlier turned down by Hansika and Karthika. The actor was recently in news, when she landed a role in Vishnuvardhan's film with Ajith, Arya and Nayantara. MGR will be the second hot film that Taapsee has signed in succession.

Ajith starrer 'Billa II' is scheduled to release on 15th June,2012 and the actor is all set to start shooting for his next project with director Vishnuvardhan, a yet to be titled film that would also have Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee in the lead roles.

The 'Billa' actor recently signed up for a film with director Siva of 'Siruthai' fame with Nagi Reddy's Vijaya Productions. With reports suggesting that the film will be a Tamil remake of the Telugu film 'Daruvu', there is a lot of curiosity surrounding this project.

'Daruvu,' a Ravi Teja starrer also directed by Siva is an out and out masala entertainer and falls in the socio-fantasy genre in the lines of Superstar Rajinikanth's yesteryear film 'Athisaya Piravi (1990)'.

Siva's last Tamil outing 'Siruthai' with Karthi in the lead was also a remake of Ravi Teja's 'Vikramakoodu' that went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Clearly Ravi Teja is a lucky charm for director Siva!

Ajith’s next with Vishnuvardhan is all set to go on floor on the 30th day of May, 2012. The yet to be titled has already started making buzz boasting of Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee.

Recently there were reports that the team is likely to rope Arvind Swamy and Prithviraj in important roles in the film. Now the news is that director Vishnuvardhan is in talks with Telugu superstars Nagarjuna, Jagapathi Babu and Ravi Teja.

If everything goes well, we hear the Telugu stars will do guest roles in the film.

Along with the cameos by Superstars, the film would have Yuvan Shankar Raja’s ecstatic music, Vinod's topnotch cinematography and Sreekar Prasad’s flawless editing as other highlights of the film.

In an interview, Arya, who is featuring as the bad guy in Ajith’s next, has opened up about Ajith.

The actor started with agreeing that he is a great lover of Ajith films.

“Ajith is a thorough professional and has no ego that comes with the star status. He is very kind, humane and interacts very well treating everyone from co-stars to a bottom level technician in the sets equally,” said Arya who was all praises for Ajith.

"Every word that Ajith speaks will be filled with concern and affection. When I wished Ajith on his birthday, Ajith excitedly said that we will rock together in Vishnuvardhan's film."

“Vishnu is my very good friend. I wouldn’t mind even being a junior artiste if he asks me to be,” said Arya about director Vishnuvardhan, whom Arya worked with for 'Sarvam'.

Intense excitement was generated when it was reported that Nayantara had been offered Vidya Balan's celebrated role in The Dirty Picture.

Nayantara has clarified and said that though she herself loved the film, she would not be comfortable pulling off the role.

The actor has also denied reports that the makers were willing to pay her a whopping renumeration saying that there were absolutely no official talks about her being cast in the Tamil and Telugu version of 'The Dirty Picture'.

Nayantara has become something of a media darling ever since she bounced back from a broken relationship and went on to make a strong comeback in Tamil as well as Telugu.

Nayantara is currently preparing herself for director Vishnuvardhan's yet to be titled film with Ajith, Arya and Taapsee.

Ajith's yet to be titled project directed by Vishnuvardhan has added another star cast to its list.

Actor Ashwin, who played a cop in 2011s Ajith starrer 'Mankatha' will be seen in a significant role in the movie. Apparently, Ashwin's inclusion in the movie is based on Ajith's recommendation it is learnt.

Vishnuvardhan has managed to rope in an ensemble star cast including Arya, Nayantara and Tapsee for the movie.

The movie will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and produced by A.M Ratnam and Raghuram.

Vishnuvardhan is all set to begin his multi-starrer with Ajith, Arya and Nayanthara this month.

The Pre-production work for this yet to titled film is almost complete and the first look of the film can be expected anytime soon.

The latest to join this starry bandwagon produced by A.M Rathnam of Sri Surya Movies is the tantalizing Taapsee, who along with Nayantara is expected to scorch the screen on fire with their glamor and sex appeal.

Even before this project has taken off from the starting line, it has generated truckloads of hype and hoopla thanks to the high octane cast.

The makers are hoping to release this film for Diwali.

Thala Ajith is the now the hot shot of Tamil Cinema and he is all geared up to keep his fans engaged with surprises.

While the Ajith starring sequel of Billa is awaiting release this June, the actor is to start shooting for his untitled project with Vishnuvardhan next week. The director, who has completed the script for the film that has Ajith starring alonside Nayantara and Arya in the lead, is now thinking on a suitable title for the film.

The makers of this yet to titled film by Vishnuvardhan are planning a Diwali release and is expecting to wrap the project in three months. Produced by A.M Rathnam, the film would most likely have Yuvan Shankar Raja roped in to compose the music for the film.

It doesn’t end there. Ajith's another film for Vijaya Productions to be directed by Siva of Siruthai fame is also expected to release in 2012.

Nayanthara's big comeback film is Vishnuvardhan's film with Ajith and Arya.

This film is most likely to be released in Telugu as well since the director and the stars have a big market there.

Nayantara will also be part of a bilingual to be released in Tamil and Telugu directed by Boopathy Pandian which has Telugu star, Gopichand as the hero. Gopichand can be recalled as the actor who played villain in Jeyam.

In addition to this big film, Nayanthara has signed a film in Telugu with Nagarjuna called Dasaradh.

The latest is that Krish who gave us Vaanam in Tamil has roped her in for his Telugu film Krishnum Vande Jagatgurum with Rana Dagubatti.

Nayan is picking her films with care as she only wants to do films that will give her scope to perform.

The latest news doing the rounds is that Nayantara will be doing a special guest appearance role in Billa II.

It will be remembered that she made a huge impact with her turn as the sassy and sexy Sasha in Billa.

So the buzz is that Nayantara will be reprising as Sasha in the prequel as well.

However much to the disappointment of Nayantara's fans, the actress has denied the news leaving behind expectations to look forward for Vishnuvardhan's upcoming film with Ajith and Arya.

There is a buzz that a popular director is trying to get Silambarasan and Nayantara onboard for his next.

Nayantara has made it clear that she is looking to revive her acting career and has already signed Vishnuvardhan's project alongside Ajith and Arya.

A popular director in Kollywood is said to be in talks with Nayantara for a film that is to have Silambarasan as her lead pair.

It may be mentioned here that the two had fought bitterly during the making of Vallavan and vowed never to share the screen space again.

Sources close to the actor say that Nayantara is now keen on getting good offers in Tamil films and is expected to patch up and pair with STR if the role convinces her.

Well, there are no permanent friends or enemies in the film industry.

Nayantara is set to make her comeback with a film to be directed by Vishnuvardhan having Ajith and Arya as her co-stars.

A.M Rathinam is producing this venture and earmarked a huge budget for it, say sources. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for this film.

Interestingly, Nayantara has been offered a huge pay packet to be a part of this film as she was reported to have been offered a similar sum for her venture in Telugu with Nagarjuna in the lead.

This has shocked the actress’s contemporaries in the film industry, say sources.

In an interesting development, Producer A.M Rathnam announced that Vishnuvardhan will be making a film with Ajith, Arya and Nayantara in the lead roles.

Director Vishnuvardhan has earlier worked with Ajith and Nayanthara for Billa and with Arya, he has done memorable films like Arindhum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal and Sarvam.

All concerned could not be happier. Ajith had said on record that he wants to work with Vishnuvardhan again and Arya is excited about teaming up with his friend again.

Nayantara meanwhile is very delighted as she could not have asked for a better comeback than an Ajith film. Vishnuvardhan and Arya of course are the icing on the cake for her.

If reports from Kollywood are to be believed, director Vishnuvardhan is planning to sign up Nayantara for his Ajith starrer.

The director is busy with the pre-production work of this untitled flick and is also on a hunting spree for a suitable heroine for Ajith.

Vishnuvardhan is keen on getting Nayantara to play the lead role along with Ajith as it is now clear that she is looking to make a comeback.

It may be mentioned here that there is news that Nayantara’s relationship with Prabhu Deva has fizzled out and the actress now wants to get back to her career.
