The shoot of the much awaited sequel of Hari’s Singam, starring Suriya in the lead, is all set to go on floors on September 26th.

News is that, the director has managed to add the hot favorites Hansika and Santhanam to the film adding attraction to the cast that retains other characters he had in Singam including Anushka, Manorama, Vivek and Nassar.

Hansika is reported to be playing a school girl in the film. However, We're yet to receive an official confirmation if Santhanam is playing a school boy too.

Studio Green has taken up the project again and Priyan will be helming the camera. Devi Sri Prasad, who delivered super hits for the original is again ready to rock for the sequel of Singam.

The teaser of Settai that released recently has garnered an amazing response from film buffs and celebrities alike.

In just a few days of its release, the teaser of 'Settai' has crossed half a million hits. The shoot of the film is now being planned in foreign destinations like Dubai and Switzerland.

Now that Arya is free from his commitments in Georgia for Irandam Ulagam, it seems that the actor has allotted his dates for Settai along with Hansika and Anjali.

Arya would be participating in the song shoots in the aforementioned foreign destinations.

Director Kannan has toned down the adult content from the original Delhi Belly, to make sure that family audiences enjoy Settai, like his previous films such as Jeyam Kondaan and Kanden Kaadhalai.

First there was news that Arya will lock lips with his co-stars Hansika Motwani and Anjali in the Tamil remake of Delhi Belly, and now reports have it that the handsome actor will also do the steamy bedroom scenes with his female co-stars for the film that is titled 'Settai'.

Director R. Kannan recently announced that Settai will have no expletives like the original, but surprisingly he wants to make the romantic sequences between Arya and Hansika Motwani hot and racy enough to leave the audiences asking for more.

According to the director, Arya will not only be locking lips with Hansika and Anjali but would also share steamy bedroom scenes with them. Those who have watched Delhi Belly know that Imran Khan did intimate scenes with both of his female co-stars in the film, thus the passionate sequences are requirement of the film’s script. 

"The kissing and bedroom sequences amongst the actor are very important to establish the intimacy between the characters and I hope to shoot them all aesthetically," said director R. Kannan who is expecting a U/A certificate for his film despite of all that kissing and lovemaking scenes.

Hari, who is planning to do a sequel on 'Singam' has disclosed the role that Hansika is going to play. 

The OKOK girl, who is affectionately called as ‘Chinna Kushbu’ of Kollywood will portray the role of a school girl in Singam 2. This is the first time Suriya and Hansika are coming together for a film. 

Hari is also looking to retain the original cast of 'Singam' adding Santhanam and Aachi Manorama among the cast list for the sequel. 

“We both have become sort of a pair,” said Hansika in a recent interview, commenting on the fact that she and Santhanam are doing a lot of films together post OKOK this year including Singam 2, Settai, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan.

Hansika has all the reason to smile. It has been a sensational year for the pretty actress.

The actor exclaimed that she is very proud of her achievement and hopes that she keeps rocking.

At 20, she has gifted herself a navy blue BMW series 5 sedan. She even got her lucky number 9 for her car. She took her family for a ride in her brand new sedan and is also planning to take her friends in Mumbai out for weekend.

The OKOK actor has her kitty full of exciting projects. She has signed up for Settai with Arya, Singam 2 with Surya, Vettai Mannan and Vaalu with STR.

Hansika Motwani is riding high as her career has turned red hot.

The lovable actor after having lost a lot of weight and is looking very fit. She has films with Arya, STR and Suriya and is looking hotter than ever according to her fans.

"I workout to be fit and healthy and I do not punish myself keeping away from food I relish," said the bubbly actor denying of her trip to the USA to put herself through extreme regimes to get a size - zero body.

In fact, her fans have been begging her not to lose weight as she is hot the way she is. Hansika said she is touched with their love and agrees with them that she does not have to become pencil thin to be desirable.

It is reliably learnt that Hansika Motwani has been roped in to play the lead opposite Naga Chaitanya in his next flick. This film directed by Kishore is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster 'Vettai' that had Arya and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

The baby faced actress is currently busy shooting for Tamil films 'Settai', 'Vaalu' and 'Vettai Mannan' and also has Singam II in her kitty. The actor's last Telugu release was the Siddharth starrer, "Oh My Friend" that failed to live up to the expectations at the Box Office. 

This yet to be titled Telugu remake of 'Vettai' will have Naga Chaitanya playing the role enacted by Arya and Hansika paired opposite him for the first time. Sunil has agreed to play Naga Chaitanya's brother in the movie and the filmmakers are currently looking for another female lead to be cast opposite him.

Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the movie that is set to start shooting from the last week of June.

Sources close to the producer say that an official announcement is on the way.

Hansika is happy as an actor on being appreciated for her performance in 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.' The gorgeous looking actor is concentrating on her growing career and has a number of good projects in her kitty. However the damsel seemed to be in distress being criticized of her burgeoning waistline.

Hansika, a complete professional that she is, has decided to tackle her weight issues once and for all. She has flown to the United States where she will be following an intense weight loss regimen to get into shape.

The actor's critics however are wondering why Hansika had to go to the United States when it is possible to follow a diet and hit the gym in India itself.

STR makes the most unpredictable moves!

The Young Superstar has been very busy shooting for 'Vettai Mannan' and 'Vaalu' produced by S.S Chakravarthy of Nic Arts. While 'Vaalu' co-starring Hansika and directed by debutante Vijay is announced to be a quickie that would release for Diwali this year, 'Vettai Mannan' directed by Nelson also starring Jai, Hansika, Deeksha Seth and Poonam Kaur is slated for a pongal release next year.

Incidentally Arya's 'Settai', directed by R. Kannan of Jayamkondaan fame is also expected to hit screens for Pongal next year. The film that was earlier titled 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' is the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit 'Delhi Belly' that also co-stars Premgi, Santhanam, Hansika and Anjali  in the lead roles.

It is expected that STR and Arya will be fighting it out with each other for the top spot at the box office for Pongal next year. Interestingly, Hansika is the common denominator in all three films.

STR and Hansika are shooting their scenes together for Vaalu, an Action-comedy film directed by debutante Vijay and produced by S.S Chakravarthy of Nic Arts.

A bus stop set has been erected at the AVM studios and the scenes are been Filmed there. Insiders report that the energy levels are very high on the set and there is a great vibe happening between the leads.

STR's upcoming action film 'Vettai Mannan' co-starring Hansika is also produced by S.S Chakravarthy of Nic Arts. The film directed by Nelson also has Jai, Deeksha Seth and VTV Ganesh rounding out the cast.

The climax scenes have been shot in Binny Mills and the film is speeding towards the finish line.

STR, who is presently busy with his Podaa Podi and Vettai Mannan, will be shooting the teaser for Vaalu, his upcoming film, tomorrow in Taramani.

Along with STR, the film’s lead lady Hansika and supporting actors Santhanam and VTV Ganesh will appear for the shoot.

The director of the film has decided to shoot a scene from the film and release it as a teaser. Following the teaser shoot, G Venkatram, who did the CCL calendar 2012, will do the photo shoot for the film.

The film will be directed by debutante Vijay and will be produced by S.S. Chakravarthy of Nic Arts. Shakthi, a regular of Nic Arts will handle the camera and Thaman will be joining STR again after Osthe to entertain his audience with his music.

Arya and Santhanam, after their winning combination in Boss Engira Baskaran, come together for their next project titled 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' directed by Kannan of Kanden Kathalai fame.

VVS is the most anticipated Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster Delhi Belly.

'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' AKA VVS is a comedy film and is set to go on floor from May 7th for a 30- day shoot.

For this purpose, a huge five star hotel set has been erected opposite Binni Mill. This enormous set is said to have cost the makers a whooping Rs. 1 crore.

The film features Arya, Santhanam, Premji, Hansika and Anjali in the lead roles. Muthiah will handle the camera and Thaman will be composing the music for the film.

STR who is presently working in Nelson’s Vettai Mannan with Jai, Hansika Motwani and Deeksha Seth, recently signed another film titled Vaalu, directed by newbie Vijay.

Santhanam is also expected to do an important role in the film.

The film will be produced by Nic Arts and Thaman will once again join STR to delight their fans.

The film’s crew is very positive about releasing the film for Deepavali and expects that it will be a special treat for his fans.

The film’s camera man, Sakthi is also handling the camera for Vettai Mannan and STR’s Love Anthem. He has used the Super 35 mm camera and also some portion used panavision.

Vishal’s next film has been confirmed.

It will be a full-length comedy flick directed by Sundar C, who seems intent on returning to direction in a full-fledged manner.

Sundar C is currently doing the Vimal-Shiva-Santhanam starrer Kalakalappu, earlier titled Masala Café. The film is almost complete and he will move onto the Vishal starrer immediately. Vishal also will be ready after the completion of Samaran, his film with Trisha.

Casting for the new film has commenced and it has been confirmed that Ko fame Karthika will be seen along with Vishal. It is reported that Hansika was the original choice for the role but the team later thought that the huge difference in height between Vishal and Hansika might not be ideal. So, they went for a heroine whose height matches well with the tall Vishal, and that’s how Karthika bagged the role.

'Vettai Mannan' produced by S.S Chakravarthy of Nic Arts is an action-thriller written and directed by debutante director Nelson. STR is currenly shooting for this film with Jai, Hansika Motwani, Deeksha Seth & Poonam Kaur in the lead roles.

While STR is busy shooting for Vettai Mannan, the producer of the film signed STR up for a new film that is to be directed by another debutante Vijay. This announced project is in pre-production and has been titled 'Vaalu' meaning Naughty.

The latest development in the production of 'Vaalu' is that, Kollywood's most wanted girl 'Hansika Motwani' has also been roped in to romance STR as his love interest in the film. The music for the film will be scored by Thaman, whose combination with STR in Osthe worked big time.

Hansika has many talents we are told. Not that she could only act and dance, she is also quite a painter and is not content to paint only as a hobby. 

Hansika wants to put her talent to good use and has decided to have an exhibition for her paintings. She wants to have her proceedings from the arts exhibition to be contributed to a worthy cause.

"There are so many elderly people in the country who lack basic essentials like food and a place to live. It would be a dream come true to provide for the elderly," said Hansika adding that she'd use the funds  raised from her exhibition to build a home for old people, who are alone and do not have the means to look after themselves. 

Hansika is working hard to bring her plans to bear and it would be her dream coming true if she succeeds in providing for the elderly.

Hansika truly has her heart in the right place! 

The actress is currently awaiting the release of OKOK and is shooting with STR for Vettai Mannan.

Rajasthan Youth Club had organized a trip to Tirupati for differently abled and special students of Tamil Nadu yesterday.

1008 such students were taken on a trip to the temple by a special train that picked up the students at 7.30 in the morning.

The event was graced by actress Hansika Motwani who flagged off the train actress Vindhya and Mr. Anantharaman, Chennai Zonal Railway Superintendent.

After the darshan the students were brought back to Chennai safely by the same train.

Director Rajesh who has Jiiva starrer Siva Manasule Shakthi and Arya starrer Boss Engira Bhaaskaran in his filmography is well known for roping in stars for a guest role in his films.

Rajesh's earlier films SMS had Arya and Boss Engira Bhaaskaran had Jiiva in cameos respectively and now this penchant to get in some of the top stars in the industry for cameo has become an expectation from the director.

For Director Rajesh's Oru Kal Oru Kannadi that is to mark the debut of producer Udayanidhi Stalin as hero, Rajesh has Andrea, Sneha and Arya to appear in cameo roles.

The film’s audio launch is scheduled to take place later this month and the film’s release date is expected to be announced formally soon.
