Bollywood is on a remake spree, especially from movies down South. The latest film that will be remade in Hindi is Sukumar's 'Arya 2'.

Ronnie Srewvala has bought the rights of the 2009 Telugu romance that was a follow-up to the actor's and the director's previous successful film, 'Arya'.

'Arya 2' had Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal, Navdeep and Shraddha Das in the cast. This film was also been dubbed in Malayalam with the same title and had become a blockbuster.

"The film, 'Arya 2', has a lot of commercial elements. In fact, the music of the film was so successful that Salman Khan acquired rights of one of the cult songs, "Ringa ringa", and got it remade into the superhit "Dhinka chika" for 'Ready'. This original song by Priya Himesh was played at cricket stadium during the breaks of IPL matches and the 2011 cricket World Cup that was held in Bangalore," says an industry source, .

Though the director for the remake of the film is yet to be decided, there are talks about Sukumar himself making his Bollywood debut with the movie. Of course, the official remake of "Arya 2" can't again have the same "Ringa ringa" number but all attempts will be made so that the Hindi music is a huge hit too."

The much-hyped cop film of Shraddha Das for which the actor had learnt martial arts has been reportedly shelved.

Shraddha had given her best shot in filming couple of action sequences for this untitled film that has her playing a fiery cop, but the producer had to stop the shoot for unexplained reasons. However, Shraddha Das, who pinned her hopes on this author-backed role, says, “I don’t think it’s shelved and the project is on.”

The actor doesn’t have to lose hope since her next film Mogudu directed by Krishna Vamsi is set for release. Krishna Vamsi is one of those directors wellknown for showcasing the beauty of the female lead in an aesthetic manner.

“It’s a swashbuckling role and could give my career a lift,” said Shraddha.

The glam diva is enjoying her 'single status' after splitting up with actor Varun Sandesh.

Shraddha’s sworn never to fall in love with an actor again. “No way am I going there again,” she concludes.

Starring Gopichand, Tapasee and Shraddha Das, Mogudu portrays the relationship between a wife and husband like Krishna Vamsi's earlier films that dealt with family bonds and relationships.

Mogudu is expected to release this month end and both Shraddha and Tapasee are eagerly awaiting its release. The surprise factor of this film would be the appearance of veteran actor Rajendra Prasad who plays a key role in this film.
