STR will be taking part in a special song sequence in Santhanam's maiden production venture 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' aka KLTA. Composer Thaman is scoring the music for the film that is co-produced by Ramanarayanan.

Santhanam has been an integral part of STR's films like Manmadhan, Silambaattam and Vaanam. The profound comedy combo is likely to return in KLTA and in STR's forthcoming film Vaalu.

KLTA co-staring Power Star Dr. Srinivasan alongside Santhanam is expected to be a laugh riot all the way in the lines of the 1981 K. Bhagyaraj film 'Indru Poi Naalai Vaa' best known for its Hindi tuition scene involving the evergreen laughter blaster "Ek gaun mein, Ek Kissan - Raghu Thaatha!".

The above mentioned song sequence for KLTA featuring STR is expected to be shot over the next two days in Binny Mills near the Chennai airport.

Kushboo fell off the staircase during a film shooting in Cochin. The actress was shooting for the Malayalam film Mr Marumakan in which Dileep plays the lead role and Kushboo dons a very significant role.

When Kushboo was required to walk down the stairs, the staircase collapsed and the actress lost her balance, fell down and fractured her leg. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Cochin where doctors are treating her. The shooting for the day was cancelled.

Mr Marumakan is directed by Sandhya Mohan. While Renigunta fame Sanusha plays the heroine, Tamil star and director Bhagyaraj is also a part of the star cast.
