Looks like happy days are here again for Amala Paul.

Having been part of successful films like Vettai, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, Kaadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi and the latest Malayalam film Run Baby Run, the Kerala girl has taken to working out in a big way as she wants to look glamorous and toned for her future films.

Now one person who is appreciative of her commitment to fitness is actor Sarath Kumar, himself a fitness freak.

The duo have been bonding over their shared passion and Amala teasingly informs everyone that she is the one who gives special training tips to Sarath Kumar! Of course, the actor is a good sport and finds her assertion very amusing.

Meanwhile on the career front too, the petite actor appears to be in control of her affairs and recently signed up for a massive Telugu project opposite 'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun directed by none other than Puri Jagannath of Pokkiri fame.

Amala Paul is thrilled to have this opportunity and is eager to get started.

Amala Paul is not just a pretty actor, but has also proved to be a responsible citizen.

The actor has given herself in to an anti-corruption movement- 5th Pillar.

In a video the actor said that the organization is providing a platform to fight for a corruption-free India and that she is very proud to be able to contribute to the cause.

“A democratic country needs four important pillars, legislative, executive, judiciary and press to run efficiently. But when a developing country like ourselves is hit by corruption, we need an extra pillar, which are the people. That is what the 5th Pillar signifies,” said Vijay Anand, an NRI of Washington and President of 5th Pillar.

The institution trains citizens on how to acquire necessities, without bribing the government authorities. Their main aim is to enlighten people about the nook and corner of Right to Information Act.

Amala Paul is embracing her glamorous side of late for her future films like the bilingual 'Nimirndhu Nil' with Jayam Ravi and her Telugu movie 'Naayak' opposite Ram Charan Teja.

To materialize the actor's objective to look glamorous than ever, Amala Paul has hired a personal trainer and has started following a strict diet regimen. The pretty actor has been hitting the gym regularly and is optimistic that her fans would love her new look.

"Apart from 'Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal', I really haven't had a chance to play glamorous roles in my films so far. But both 'Nimirnthu Nil' and 'Naayak' are pucca entertainers. I play a highly fashionable girl with groovy dance sequences and I want to look my best in them," said Amala Paul with a determination to look even more dashing and toned than she is now.

Meanwhile, Amala Paul has become the talk of the town for the recently shot number 'Subhaleka Rasukunna Eppudo' along with Ram Charan in Iceland. This remixed yesteryear hit-song along with the pretty actor's look is mentioned to be the highlight of the V.V Vinayak directed 'Naayak' that also co-stars Kajal Aggarwal in the lead.

Jayam Ravi is currently shooting for his upcoming film 'Nimirndhu Nil' in Goa.

Directed by Samuthirakani of 'Naadodigal (2009)' and 'Poraali (2011)' fame, the 'Nimirndhu Nil' co-stars Amala Paul has the female lead to romance Jayam Ravi for the first time.

The first look of the film is out and the actor has been getting a lot of compliments for his ripped physique and the washboard abs displayed on the promo stills of the film.

By all the reports that has been received about 'Nimirndhu Nil', It has been learnt that Jayam Ravi is investing heavily on this role and is putting in a lot of effort to make sure it comes out exceptionally well.

Given the grueling schedule, the actor has been unable to spend time with his family and hence his wife Aarti had recently joined him in Goa.

The couple had a great time after the shoot and chilled with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law who had joined them later.

So it was quite a fun family reunion.

Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal was in Chennai yesterday for the premiere of his latest Malayalam film 'Run Baby Run' directed by Joshiy.

The actor was spotted at director Priyadharshan’s 4 Frames preview theater along with his female lead Amala Paul.

The cast of 'Run Baby Run' has Mohan Lal and Amala Paul in the lead with Biju Menon, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna and Siddique in pivotal roles.

Mohanlal plays the role of an investigative video journalist in this film that hit the screens on August 29st, amidst large expectations.

Lingusamy is planning to remake his Arya-Madhavan starrer Vettai in Hindi.

The director had approached Asin to reprise the role of Sameera Reddy, who played the wife of Madhavan and elder sibling of Amala Paul in the film.

But Asin seems to have turned down the offer.

“Right now I’m not ready to take up films that have multiple heroines. I definitely cannot do the role of an elder sister. And I also have some date issues,” said Asin justifying her decision to turn down Lingusamy.

Amala Paul is on a lucky streak!

The actor's film 'Akashathinte Niram'(The Colour of the Sky), a Malayalam film directed by Biju Menon has been chosen for The Golden Goblet competition section of the Shanghai International film festival.

'Akashathinte Niram' is the first time a Malayalam movie that has been selected for the main competition section of the Shanghai festival, said a recent press release.

Shot entirely in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, the film is about an old man who is asked for money forcibly by an intruder. The latter then gets to know the people in the old man's life and his own life changes forever.

'Akashathinte Niram' is the fourth feature film directed by Biju. His earlier films including 'Saira' (2005), 'Raman' (2008) and the National Award Winner for the best Malayalam feature film 'Veettilekulla Vazhi' (2010) were also screened at various International festivals.

The festival is to be held from the 16th to 24th of June,2012 in Shanghai, China.

Trisha is back in the country after celebrating her birthday with friends in picturesque Koh Samui, Thailand.

The beautiful belle graciously thanked her fans for all the birthday wishes, cards, flowers and the love they have showered on her.

The actor said that she had a wonderful holiday celebrating her birthday in Thailand and is feeling very rejuvenated and ready to get back to the grind.

Trisha will be joining the Vishal and his Samar team for an extended schedule to wrap up her part for the film and would then begin work on the Jiiva starrer Endrendrum Punnagai to be directed by Ahmed of Vaamanan fame.

As reported earlier, Trisha has replaced Amala Paul and Nayantara as Jayam Ravi's leading lady for his next film 'Boologam' to be directed by debutante Kalyanakrishnan. It may be recalled that the actor is pairing with Jayam Ravi for the 2nd time after Unnakum Ennakum (2006).

Ravi is a relieved man now.

The actor has completed his shooting schedule for Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan, which has been in the offing for a long time.

Jayam Ravi now has two more projects in his kitty.

One is Boologam directed by debutante Kalyana Krishnan, that would have Jayam Ravi pairing with Trisha again after Unakkum Enakkum. The other one is an untitled film by Samudrakani that might have Amala Paul along with the actor.

Samudrakani's untitled film is touted to feature Jayam Ravi in a dual role of a middle aged man and of a youngster. It must be noted that it would the actor's first time to be featured in a dual role in his 9 year old career.

Siddharth and his freshly launched Etaki Entertainments has now obtained the remake rights for 'Vicky Donor', a Bollywood hit starring Ayushman Khurana and Yami Gautam.

Siddharth's Production House 'Etaki Entertainments' arrived with a bang bringing Balaji Mohan's 'Kadhalil Soddapuvathu Yeppadi'.

KSY had Amala Paul starring opposite Siddharth and the film was a huge success in Tamil. The Telugu version of KSY titled ':Love Failure' didn't fail to create the same impression and was a great success at the Telugu Box Office.

Now the remake 'Vicky Donor' remake will be Etaki Entertainments' second venture.

'Vicky Donor' is a story about a young man who becomes a sperm donor to make some extra cash and the film revolves around the complications in his life following this move. Siddharth is yet to reveal if he will be starring in the remake himself and if the film will be made in Tamil or Telugu.

An official announcement can be expected very soon.

Trisha, who paired up with Jayam Ravi in 'Unakkum Enakkum' has been roped in for his next film 'Boologam'.

Boologam, the next Jeyam Ravi starrer after his much anticipated 'Aadhi Bhagavan' is directed by newbie Kalyanakrishnan and is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

The film was initially announced to have Amala Paul starring opposite Jayam Ravi in the lead role. Later, the crew confirmed that it was going to be Nayantara, who will be pairing up with the actor.

The Tinsel town is abuzz about the recent reports confirming that Trisha has replaced Nayantara as the lead lady of the film 'Boologam'. It may be recalled that the actor earlier starred opposite Jayam Ravi in 'Unakkum Enakkum (2006)' that became one of the biggest hits of the year.

Boologam is expected to roll later in May with cinematographer Priyan  handling the camera and V.T Vijayan editing the film. Vijay Antony has been roped in to come up with the music for the film.

Jayam Ravi, who is about to wrap up the shoot of Adhi Baghavan after the song he is presently shooting in Goa, will soon start working on his untitled project with Samudrakani of Nadodigal fame.

It was rumoured earlier that Nayantara will pair up with Jayam Ravi for this yet to be titled film too.

It has now been officially confirmed that Amala Paul will play the role of the lead lady with her bankable status after the success of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi.

Jayam Ravi, on the other hand also has Boologam in his kitty to be directed by debutante Kalyanakrishnan. Boologam will have Nayantara starring alongside Jayam Ravi.

Trisha is one confident lady as she has gone on record to say that she is not threatened by any other actors rising in competition against her.

In fact, Trisha said that she had no problems working with Karthika Nair in 'Dammu', the NTR Jr. flick that is releasing Friday, the 27th April 2012.

Trisha is now likely to team up with Amala Paul for a film with Ravi Teja called Saar Vastaru.

Although nothing is official yet, the makers are very determined in roping Trisha and Amala Paul for their project. Ashwini Dutt, the producer along with her crew has approached both the heroines to be roped in for their film with Ravi Teja.

"The stars themselves are reported to be excited about the project as both of them have tailor-made roles in the film," reported our sources.

Ileana may just agree to play the lead role in Lingusamy's Bollywood debut with Shahid Kapoor. This venture produced by UTV Motion Pictures is a remake of the Tamil hit 'Vettai' that had Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles.

The Hindi remake of 'Vettai' which will also be produced by UTV Motion Pictures will have Shahid Kapoor and Ali Zafar reprising the roles made popular by Arya and Madhavan respectively.

It may be recalled that Lingusamy initially wanted Ileana opposite Arya for 'Vettai' but unfortunately things did not work out that he had to settle for Amala Paul.

There were reports earlier that Amala Paul may just get her Bollywood ticket this early in her career with the B-town remake of 'Vettai,' but if reports are to be believed, the director has requested Ileana to keep her dates free for the Hindi remake to have her romance Shahid in the role originally enacted by Amala Paul.

Lingusamy is ready to begin shooting for the film in May and the first schedule will he held in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Now all that remains is for the makers to finalize the rest of the cast too.

Amala Paul is the talk of the town and less don't know of her been cast as the heroine in the Jayam Ravi starrer 'Boologam' that is to be produced by Aascar V. Ravichandran and directed by Kalyan.

Amala Paul is currently working round the clock with two films each in Telugu and Malayalam besides shooting for some commercials as well. However, Amala being a professional that she is has admitted that she had no choice than to withdraw from the project as she could not find any dates for the film.

While there are other reports of the actor being a part of 'Boologam', the producers of the film have already started the hunt for a heroine to replace her in.

It is rumored that the producers now want a replacement who is much bigger in name and fame (not frame) than Amala Paul. An official announcement of the same can be expected once the heroine is finalized.

Amala Paul has been signed up to romance Jeyam Ravi for Boologam that is to be produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Jayam Ravi plays a kick - boxer in the film and Amala Paul will be his love interest.

Jayam Ravi is currently shooting for Ameer's Aadhi Bhagawan and once it is done he will begin work on Boologam.

Jayam Ravi is sharpening his kick - boxing skills that he picked up while shooting for M Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi.

After Vettai, kadhalil sodhapuvadu yeppadi and Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal, Amala Paul will be looking to emerge as one of the top heroines in the South with Boologam.

The team of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal is on a real high. The anticipation around the film is touching unprecedented high in business circles. The movie, touted to release quite dramatically on Valentine’s Day weekend, as of now, has been charted into 252 release centres in Tamil Nadu. The enormity of this number can be gauged from the fact that Nanban had released in 268 centres on January 12. Thus, the reception that MUK is now receiving is nothing short of awesome for a film featuring a hero who is just one film old. With such a wide release, Atharva and his heroine Amala Paul are surely set to go several notched higher with MUK. Debut director Elred Kumar too is set to have quite a high flying start to his career.

A lot of the excitement surrounding the movie is being attributed to the chartbusting music scored by G.V.Prakash Kumar which has been a rage ever since its release. Also, the fact that MUK carries the banner of RS Infotainment, a production house that has given hugely popular movies like KO and VTV, has worked as an added advantage.

In fact, the Valentine weekend is a momentous one for RS Infotainment as they will have both MUK and Ekk Deewana Tha (the Hindi version of VTV) releasing on the same day.

The rights for MUK all over Tamil Nadu have been snapped up by four major distributors who went for the film after watching it. it is reported that they compared the Atharva-Amala combination to the evergreen combinations like Kamal-Sridevi and Rajni-Sripriya. They also made quite a nostalgic comparison of father and son; stating that while Murali was renowned for his soft romantic films, his son looks to be going one step further with romance.

With such a grand reception on the business front, MUK is all set to make Valentines Day special for the Tamil box office.

Elred Kumar's Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal starring Atharva and Amala Paul will be released on February 17th.

The audio release was held on December 18th and the music by GV Prakash has been well received.

The Oru Murai track rendered by GV Prakash, Blaaze and Andrea and the Sokkupodi number by Baba Sehgal and Shruti Haasan are becoming quite popular.

Zaved seen in Hollywood movies like HAngover 2 will be playing the villain.

With major chunks of the movie been shot in the USA and other exotic locales, Atharva and Amala Paul are very excited about the film. The entire crew has pinned their hopes with the film and have put their hearts into their respective roles.

At the Vettai press meet, director Lingusamy said that he is satisfied with the way the film has shaped up and is waiting for the audiences’ reaction.

When asked Lingusamy, if he was planning to remake the film in Hindi, Lingusamy said that he intends to remake 'Vettai' with Salman Khan reprising Madhavan’s role and Ranbir Kapoor in Arya’s character.

Vettai has Arya, Madhavan, Sameera Reddy, Amala Paul and others in the star cast. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music for this film.

Amala Paul is very excited these days awaiting her big releases and there are reports about the actress foraying into Bollywood.

While reports about the actor's Bollywood debut is a buzz in the industry, Amala Paul is awaiting the release of three biggies that includes Vettai, Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal and Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi.

"Bollywood dreams? Who wouldn’t love to act with Hrithik and Aamir? But, I don’t look at Bollywood as a career progression. The script will decide if I want to make a move northwards. It has to please the actor in me," said Amala Paul adding about her high expectation on her big films that are awaiting release.

Reports earlier mentioned of the Hindi remake of Lingusamy's Vettai that would possibly have Amala Paul reprising her role. Buzz now is that Amala has been approached by a big production company from Mumbai to act in a Hindi movie.

Looks like Amala Paul would foray into Bollywood one way or another..
