Action superstar Jean-claude Van Damme says he loves his tag as a gay icon and hails his homosexual fans for having a good "taste".

The 50-year-old has no problem being admired by the gay community, but insists they like him because of his personality, not his looks, reported Contactmusic.

"Most gay people are very tasty people. They like beautiful stuff in their lives. If they like me, it means they have taste. They don't follow me for my butt shots. They like me for me," said Damme.

The actor recently signed up for a sequel to Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables, opposite Jason Statham, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Maria Shriver confronted the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger's secret child after noticing the boy's resemblance to her husband.

Although Mildred 'Patti' Baena - who worked as a housekeeper for the couple - never confessed her son Joseph's paternity to Arnold following a brief fling with the "Terminator" star, Maria became suspicious after staff pointed out the similarities when Joseph, 13, visited their home and following a confrontation, Patti "broke down" and the truth emerged.

Patti said: "Last summer I brought Joseph over to the house. Until then, he hadn't been around very much. After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other.

"Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her and I kept saying no. Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold's son and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying saying that yes he was and I was so sorry."

However, Maria shocked Patti with her reaction, comforting her and encouraging the housekeeper not to retire from her job until after the holidays.

In an interview to Britain's HELLO! magazine Patti said: "She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnold's fault, that it takes two. Since I was retiring soon, I said I would pack and leave right away, but she said to stay until after the holidays."

Now Patti hopes the couple - who are currently working on divorce proceedings - manage to reconcile and save their marriage. She said: "He's a good man and I know he's suffering too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out."

American actress Jessica Biel, who is all set to star in a modern version of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Total Recall, thinks the movie was "ripe for remake".

The 29-year-old actress, however, admitted that not everyone is happy about the film being recreated. "It's ripe for a remake. There are two camps, some who want a remake and some who think it should be left alone," Biel said.

Biel will play the role of a prostitute Melina - which was previously played by Rachel Ticotin. Rachel Ticotin is set to take up the role of Sharon Stone's old character Lori, with Len Wiseman directing the project.

The sci-fi movie, which is based on the book We Can Remember It for You Wholesale by Philip K Dick. Producer Neal Moritz had recently revealed the latest adaptation will follow the novel more than its predecessor.

Former child actor Gigi Goyette's friend has claimed that Arnold Schwarzenegger's rough sex session caused her some injury due to which 'she had to go to hospital'.

Goyette was left "hurt and embarrassed", the friend said.

"She said Arnold was unbelievably frisky and that she had to go to hospital he was so rough. She was embarrassed turning up with an injury like that," the Sun quoted the pal as saying.

The 1989 romp allegedly took place in Mexico City while Arnie, 63, made sci-fi film Total Recall.

Goyette, 52, a star in 'Little House' on the Prairie, claims she had a ten-year affair with the former California governor.

She has told how the pair romped in Mexico City, but that the trip ended badly as she suspected he was having an affair.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, separated after the former governor revealed he had fathered a child with a member of their household staff, The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

The couple announced in a joint statement May 9 that they had separated after 25 years of marriage. The Times reported Tuesday that Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier this year after Schwarzenegger acknowledged the child is his.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said in a statement issued to the newspaper. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

"I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time," the statement concluded. "While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

A spokesman for Schwarzenegger did not immediately return a phone call and e-mail from The Associated Press early Tuesday. A spokesman for the former first lady told the Times she had no comment.

The Times did not publish the former staffer's name nor that of her child but said the staff member worked for the family for 20 years and retired in January.

In an interview Monday before Schwarzenegger issued his statement, the former staffer said another man -- her husband at the time -- was the child's father. She said she voluntarily left her position with the couple "on good terms."

When the Times later informed the woman of the governor's statement, she declined to comment further.

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife of 25 years, Maria Shriver, announced Monday that they are separating.

The statement, issued by a spokesman for Schwarzenegger, said the two were working on the future of their relationship while living apart and they would continue to parent their four children together.

"This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us," the two said in a prepared statement. "After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer, we came to this decision together."

It was not clear from the statement if either remained at their estate in Brentwood, or whom the children were with. Schwarzenegger's spokesman, Daniel Ketchell, said he wouldn't answer questions beyond what was said in Monday's statement.

About a month before the anniversary, Shriver wrote on her Facebook page that she was going through a transition in her life.

"As you know, transitions are not easy. I'd love to get your advice on how you've handled transitions in your own life," she said in a video posted on YouTube.

"It's so stressful to not know what you're doing next. People ask you what are you doing and then they can't believe that you don't know what you're doing," she said.

The separation announcement comes months after the death of Shriver's father, Peace Corps founder and former vice presidential candidate Sargent Shriver, in January.
