Ameer's upcoming movie Aadhi Bhagavan starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra will be having its audio launch on September 29.

The location of the audio launch will be the exotic Canada thereby continuing the recent trend of having audio launches in foreign destinations like Singapore, London and the likes.

This flick has been in development for more than two years and is finally expected to get a release in 2012.

As with Ameer's previous directorials Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002), Raam (2005) and Paruthiveeran (2007), the film score and soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja with lyrics were written by Snehan.

The composer has promised something different for his fans and mentioned that the wait is almost over.

Ravi is a relieved man now.

The actor has completed his shooting schedule for Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan, which has been in the offing for a long time.

Jayam Ravi now has two more projects in his kitty.

One is Boologam directed by debutante Kalyana Krishnan, that would have Jayam Ravi pairing with Trisha again after Unakkum Enakkum. The other one is an untitled film by Samudrakani that might have Amala Paul along with the actor.

Samudrakani's untitled film is touted to feature Jayam Ravi in a dual role of a middle aged man and of a youngster. It must be noted that it would the actor's first time to be featured in a dual role in his 9 year old career.

Neetu Chandra, the sexy dame best known for the role she played in the 2009 hit 'Yavarum Nalam (13B)' and for her sizzling item song from Myskin's Yuddham Sei (2011) has completed her part as the lead lady in Ameer’s Adhi Baghavan opposite Jayam Ravi.

The sultry looking actor has now bagged her first ever-international project to play the lead in a Greek film produced by Kyriakos Tofaridis (producer of The Last Homecoming), who has been scripting the film for over four years.

Apparently it was filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who recommended the Bollywood actors to Kyriakos Tofaridis, who selected Neetu Chandra over other Indian actresses including Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.

Kyriakos mentioned that he was looking for an Indian beauty and that Neetu's Indian exotic looks are the best for his next bilingual venture 'Home Sweet Home' to be made in Greek and English. He further revealed that the film revolves around three hot men, two Greek and one from Hollywood, trying to woo the leading lady played by Neetu Chandra.

"It was Anurag who introduced me to Kyriakos. I am looking forward to shoot in Greece. I am thankful to Anurag." said Neetu acknowledging Anurag's help adding "This role couldn't have come at a better time, especially since I was surrounded by too much negative publicity, link-ups and controversies."

The sexy lass who is busy learning Greek these days will fly to Cyprus on May 5th for the shoot of the film that has been scheduled to go on floor from May 8th.

Jayam Ravi informed fans that the Aadhi Bhagawan unit is currently in Goa and work has been proceeding at a frantic pace for the past 10 days. The actor is working 22 hour shifts under trying conditions. But he is not complaining, in fact he is very happy that the film is making steady progress.

Aadhi Bhagawan directed by Ameer has suffered its fair share of setbacks and inordinate delays owing to the FEFSI - TFPC strike. It has been reported that Jayam Ravi has a very challenging role to play and he is putting his heart and soul into his character.

There is buzz that Sonakshi Sinha and Neetu Chandra are having a cold war. At the launch of a suburban spa the two ladies shared frosty vibes.

While brushing shoulders they refused to acknowledge each other. The bone of contention between the two is the Bhojpuri version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, being hosted by Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha. Says a source close to Neetu, "Shatrusaab was keen to have Neetu as a celebrity participant as she's the first B-Town actress born and brought up in Bihar. Discussions to have Neetu on the show were nearing a final agreement when suddenly the plan was dropped.

Later on, as everyone now knows, Sonakshi was the only B-Town actress to appear on the show. That led to rumours that it was Shatrughan Sinha who asked that Neetu be dropped from the show to clear the way for his daughter." This has led to the two ladies prefering to keep a safe distance from each other. We prefer to reserve judgement on this.

Actress Neetu Chandra, who has a versatile personality and has done more than 20 films, including two national award-winning ones, feels proud of the projects she has been a part of. The actress reveals that the journey has been worth taking only because of the ‘good’ people she met in the industry.

Talking about her projects, she says, “I am currently working on some projects and I have signed a big banner film which will be announced soon.” She adds further, “I am not the kind of person who runs behind people to get a role. If I feel I suit a role, then I pursue it or else I don’t. I also believe that being at the right time at the right place helps a lot. But what has really helped me is my work and being able to work with some amazing directors.”

Ask her about turning producer with a Bhojpuri film Deswa, and she replies, “Firstly, it’s a bilingual and I don’t know why people feel it’s just Bhojpuri. It could be because I am from Patna. I decided to produce this film because of the story.

Deswa has an amazing story which I felt people will like but many feel I turned producer because I had no work. I don’t want to say anything to them, my films and work will speak for me.”

Chandra feels proud to be a self-made actor. “I feel every industry has nepotism and I personally don’t think it’s wrong. Today, I am an actor and tomorrow if my kid wants to be one, I don’t feel there’s anything wrong in it. However, I feel happy that I made it here without any Godfather. It wasn’t easy but then do you value the things you achieve easily?” she ends.

There is a talk in Kollywood that Ameer and Neetu Chandra have been bonding ever since the two met on the sets of Mysskin’s Yudham Sei.

Ameer had even topped these talks offering her the heroine’s role in Aadhi Bhagwan starring Jayam Ravi in the lead.

When asked about him being inseparable from Neetu, Ameer replied that they both like each other so much that they stick together whenever time permits. He added that it is a very stable relationship between them.

Prakash Raj seems to be the perfect husband as he is encouraging and supporting wife, Pony Verma's career in a big way. They have opened a dance school in Mumbai called Indian School of Performing Arts. It aims to produce the finest dancers in the country. The dance school will be offering dance lessons in the following genres - Bollywood style, hip - hop, salsa, cha - cha - cha, samba, reggae, jazz, belly dancing and other avante garde dance styles.

The opening ceremony held on June 9th was well attended with Bollywood celebs like Govinda, Mugdha Godse, Vivek Oberoi, Neetu Chandra, and Sanjay Leela Bansali putting in an appearance. The stars danced to a few hit numbers and made the event a lot of fun.

Prakash Raj and Pony have revealed that they believe their dance school will be a success and they will also be opening branches in other parts of the country, particularly Chennai and Hyderabad.

Neetu Chandra’s popularity reached the pinnacle with her item number in Yudham Sei along with director Ameer. Though she made her entry into Kollywood with Yaavarum Nalam, it cannot be denied that this song was the turning point in her career.

The actress is currently acting in Adhi Bhagwan opposite Jayam Ravi and the film is directed by Ameer. Intending to diversify, Neetu has decided to turn into a producer. She has already floated her own production house and is producing a Bhojpuri film which is being directed by her brother.

It may be mentioned here that several actresses in Kollywood including Sona run their own production houses.

Sakshi Sivanand, who was seen in movies like Vedam, Vanjinathan and Manasthan, will now be turning a item girl for song in Tamil.

Aadhi Bhagavan, directed by Ameer Sultan, which stars Jeyam Ravi and Neetu Chnadra in the lead will see a sizzling item song which will be performed by Sakshi.

Director Ameer who like Mysskin, gives importance to item song in his movie. A song for the film composed by Yuvan Shanakr Raja, which was sung by Shreya Goshal and Sharib Sabri is said to be Yuvan's toughest composition so far.

Sources say that Yuvan who usually completes his songs within a couple of days, had taken more than a week to finish, after he had made seven to eight versions of it. Another song is said to be a club number, which will feature Hindi lyrics, while singer Mohit Chauhan has crooned to the number.

The movie which was shot mostly in Bangkok, will be produced by DMK politician J. Anbazhagan, while cinematography is by R. B. Gurudev and K. Devaraj and editing is done by Ram Sudharsan.

Neetu Chandra plays the role of a modern NRI. The role was initially offered to Mamata Mohandas and Priyamani.
