Do you remember Hazel Keech as the lovely bespectacled friend of Kareena Kapoor in the blockbuster Bodyguard?

Originally from London, the British hottie couldn’t refrain from being sexy on the silver screen. She had sizzled in a brief role earlier in the Ajith starrer 'Billa (2007)' before 'Bodyguard'.

The sexy lass has now shot for the item number 'Aa Ante Amalapuram' in the forthcoming movie Maximum starring Naseeruddin Shah, Sonu Sood and Neha Dhupia.

The item track that was well sung by Malathy has a mass appeal to it, but more than the song it’s Hazel who wows you with her sexy makeover.

The song is definitely helping her to earn fans, as she gyrates in a true desi style doing jhatka-matka and showing off ample curves. The spicy song indeed has a catchy tune, thanks to the music composer Devi Sri Prasad, whose super hit Telugu composition Ringa Ringa was made into Dhinka Chika in Bollywood.

'Aa Ante Amalapuram' is originally from the Telugu hit film Arya starring Allu Arjun. Sonu Sood, the producer of Maximum bought the rights of the song from the makers. The lyrics of the song also draw inspiration from the original. The meaning of "Aa Ante Amalapuram is: “Aa means Amalapuram”; Amalapuram is a small town in Andhra Pradesh.

Here is Hazel Keech dancing to the tune of Aa Ante Amlapuram. Item girl or item bomb?

While Hazel Keech aka Rose Dawn spiced up Billa with the item number 'Sei yedhavathu sei.,' Meenakshi Dixit will be grooving for the special song in the second instalment, that is touted to be prequel of the Billa.

Well, grapevine is abuzz with the news that the makers of the film have zeroed in on Meenakshi Dixit for an item number in Billa II.

The movie bosses signed Meenakshi Dixit for the item number, after much deliberation considering quite a few actresses before roping her in. It is said that her recent item number in Telugu movie Dookudu had created a rage and had impressed them enough to have her sizzle with Ajith Kumar for the tune composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja in Billa II.

Apart from Ajith Kumar, Billa II directed by Chakri Toleti has Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the lead roles.

British Indian actress Hazel Keech, who made her Bollywood debut with blockbuster Bodyguard, says Salman Khan never revealed that he was suffering from pain while shooting for the movie.

Salman left for the US before the film could hit the screens and underwent an eight-hour operation in Pittsburgh for a nerve problem that was causing excruciating pain in his head, jaws and cheeks.

"The operation went off well, but the pain is still there so he would be going for another operation. But even if he is in pain, he is never going to speak of it. He is such a brave person," said Keech in an interview.

Hazel flew down to Mumbai from London with stardust in her eyes, but gave up all hopes of making a career in acting in India. She was returning when she got the Bodyguard offer.

"I was not getting any work, so I was planning to go back to London. The day I was about to leave, I got a text message from Atul Agnihotri and he asked me to meet him. I met him, we spoke for over two-and-a-half-hours and then he selected me," said the 24-year-old, who has worked in Tamil film Billa.

Salman, who she had met in London while he was shooting for London Dreams, had passed on her number to Agnihotri who has co-produced the blockbuster with Reliance Entertainment.

Hazel started her career as an actor at a very tender age by doing small roles in Hollywood films. She worked in three editions of Harry Potter.

"I am with the entertainment industry since the age of 12. I used to do small roles in Western films. When I was in school, I did Harry Potter. Gradually, I started getting bigger roles. I worked in the second, third and fourth editions of 'Harry Potter'. I played one of the students," said Hazel.

Though she's a second lead in Salman-Kareena Kapoor starrer Bodyguard, she is happy she could exhibit her acting skills.

"Technically, I was the second lead but the story is such that I am there in almost 80 per cent of the film. It was such an important role," she said.

Born to an English father and an Indian mother, Hazel came to India five years ago and easily gelled with the culture here because as she says she grew up in a very traditional Indian home, courtesy her mother and grandmother.

"My mom is a Hindu and my nani (maternal grandmother) who stays with us there, is very traditional and wears sari every day, does pujas. So, eventually the culture at home was totally Indian. When I came to India, it's just a different country but the culture was same that I grew up in," she said.

She has only one regret -- her name was changed to Rose Dawn by the first modelling agency she had worked with.

"I am born as Hazel. Rose is not my name. When I came five years ago, the modelling agency I started with decided to change my name. They changed my name to Rose. I left that agency after a year. I never changed my name or spelling after that," said Hazel.

Asked if she would continue doing both western and Indian films, she said: "I am an actor. Wherever I'd get to do my craft, I'd be doing. I won't restrict myself to any one language or genre."

In a first of its kind, the theatrical promo of Bollywood actor Salman Khan's upcoming film Bodyguard was launched today (21st July) by Salman's bodyguard for 15 years, Shera.

"This is a very big honour that bhai (Salman) has given me..I have been with Salman bhai for 15 years now. I used to tell bhai that I can do anything for him ...can take a bullet for him. But the fact is bhai can do anything for his loved-ones. He is the real-life bodyguard," said Shera who was dressed in a uniform that employees of Personal Bodyguard Agency wear.

Directed by Siddique and produced by brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, Bodyguard stars Salman and Kareena Kapoor.

"I can trust him with everything - be it money, family, my life and girls. He is very trustworthy," said Salman.

"Shera has known me since I was 10-years-old and has known me even before I was an actor. So it is a very special moment today for he is launching the promo of one of my films. All thanks to Salman," said Kareena.

Bodyguard is a remake of a 2010 Malayalam movie of the same name. It is set to hit cinemas on August 31.
