Asin is a favorite among rumor mongers.

Asin is often linked to superstars in Bollywood and constantly talked about her donning a bikini in her forthcoming movies.

Although the actor has adorned very glamorous costumes in Bollywood when compared to her Tamil and Telugu movies, she has never gone vulgar.

Responding to such bikini rumors,

"I'm a very orthodox Christian and I always keeps my values intact whether I'm in Mumbai or even somewhere abroad," said Asin.

"In the future, even if I'm to wear a bikini in my private life, it wouldn't be without my life partner's consent," added Asin answering all the rumors in no uncertain words.

Actor Asin has been linked with almost all Bollywood superstars she has acted with ever since her debut with Aamir Khan in Ghajini.

First it was Aamir Khan and then it was Salman, with whom Asin was rumored to be linked with. Thanks to her twin movies 'London Dreams' and 'Ready' with Salman, that some media houses even went as far as to say that she was living together with him.

Initially the actor took it in her stride as being part and parcel of her profession but off late she has been disturbed by the talks of her alleged live-in relationship with Salman.

Asin appealed to such miscreants to think about her family before spreading any such rumors. She signed off with a warning stating that she would sue the media houses in court if any such false news is spread in future.

Ileana D'Cruz is very happy with the warm response that she has received so far for her Bollywood debut 'Barfi!' directed by Anurag Basu.

The hot and sexy actor revealed that she was earlier offered an opportunity to work with Salman Khan in the Prabhu Deva directed 'Wanted  (2009)' which was the Hindi remake of the Telugu film 'Pokkiri (2006)' directed by Puri Jagannadh starring herself and Mahesh Babu in the lead.

"Albeit I was excited to work with Salman, I felt that I was not ready for Bollywood then. So I allowed the opportunity to slip through my fingers," said the goan beauty admitting that she would love to work with Salman if she's offered a chance again.

However, the 'Nanban' heroine was quick to clarify that she had no regrets about refusing the given opportunity to act with Salman Khan and was proud to make her Bollywood debut with 'Barfi!'.

Asin has been enacting marriage scenes in quite a few of her recent movies like Ready and Housefull 2.

Even for her upcoming film with Akshay Kumar titled Khiladi 786, Asin got married last week on the sets in Punjabi style.

Now, she has jokingly remarked to her support crew that it is time for her to find a good guy, and get married for real.

Looks like she is fed up of all these reel marriages. However, her fans would hope that Asin would continue donning the greasepaint and not think about marriage seriously anytime soon.

Asin is generally known to dub in her own voice in all the movies that she acts in - be it Tamil, Telugu or Hindi.

In one of her upcoming Bollywood movies, she is playing the role of a Marathi girl and in keeping with her policy, she would be dubbing in her own voice for this role too.

For this, the actor has hired a Marathi tutor to help her perfect the language and the crew of this film is surprised by her willingness to learn and dedication to deliver.

Asin recently had a blockbuster in Bol Bachchan and her next film is 'Khiladi 786' with her Housefull 2 co-star Akshay Kumar.

The actor is supposedly learning Marathi for the role in this film.

Asin has been having a grand run in Bollywood ever since she made her debut opposite Aamir Khan in 'Ghajini (2008).'

All of her Bollywood releases including Ghajini followed by London Dreams and Housefull 2 have crossed the 100 crores net at the boxoffice including her latest release Bol Bachchan.

The actor now seem to have realized the reason for her grandeur in Bollywood as all her co-stars that she has been acting with, like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar are not only box-office opening kings but are also really senior to her.

Asin now longs to have a good solid solo female lead role opposite a co-star of her age. She infact feels sad for the lack of prominent roles offered to her, post Ghajini.

Would this regret make Asin come back to South Indian Cinema. Well we'd leave that for Asin to decide.

Lingusamy is planning to remake his Arya-Madhavan starrer Vettai in Hindi.

The director had approached Asin to reprise the role of Sameera Reddy, who played the wife of Madhavan and elder sibling of Amala Paul in the film.

But Asin seems to have turned down the offer.

“Right now I’m not ready to take up films that have multiple heroines. I definitely cannot do the role of an elder sister. And I also have some date issues,” said Asin justifying her decision to turn down Lingusamy.

Asin remains the only actress from the South to have made a successful transition to Hindi films in recent times, having tasted success within just three years of being in the Hindi film industry.

Three out of the four films she's done are in the list of the top 10 highest grossers of all time. " Ghajini", "Ready" and "Housefull 2" have all crossed the `100 crore (net collections) mark.

Asin has an enviable career success ratio in B-town when compared to contemporaries in the `100-crore list who have been in the industry for a decade or more.

Asin's next film is Rohit Shetty's "Bol Bachchan".

Says the actress, "I am thrilled to have three films in the coveted 100-crore list. It is a function of luck, working with good people, growth in Bollywood and to some extent, my picking fun and emotional stories, which tend to do well. For me, it is not about the crores in collections, but entertaining such a big number of people. If the audience is happy, the rest follows. Collections are one factor, but more than anything, I'd like to work in films I'm passionate about. I love the new generation of filmmakers and hope I get to work with them."

She has also kept a relatively low profile compared to her peers. "I have to admit, my PR and networking skills suck!" she says, "I may get all self-righteous about it, but the fact is that PR matters. I come from the South, where self-marketing isn't naturally in the culture, so I've been deficient in that area. The good thing about downplaying myself is that when achievements come, people are positively surprised. I believe my work should do the talking."

Asin says her family is her support system. "It may sound like a cliche," she says, "but my family defines who I am and is my strongest support base. My parents have given me the right amount of independence to pursue my dreams, but at the same time, brought me up well and kept me grounded. There are absolutely no starry tantrums allowed at home! And that is why I don't have them on the sets." What about Mr Right? "Ah! Good men and good scripts - two things I'm looking for," she smiles, "So far, I've been lucky with the scripts. It's perhaps time to focus on finding the man."

The combination of Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty is back. The power-packed duo, whose work was appreciated in Singham, have used a famous line from the film for their upcoming venture Bol Bachchan.

The dialogue, Aata majhi satakli from Singham, was liked by the masses that went berserk watching Ajay say it on-screen. A source said, "Fans can now look forward to Ajay doing that dialoguebaazi once again in his upcoming comic caper Bol Bachchan. Last year, this dialogue had become a complete rage among the masses. So much so that people started using it as common lingo. In fact, it had become a part of their everyday language."

Rohit felt that the dialogue is commercial and massy and thus used it in Bol Bachchan too. "It has been used in a comic situation this time," said the source.

Starring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin Thottumkal and Prachi Desai, Bol Bachchan is presented by Fox Star Studios and is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak LFS Infra Ltd and Ajay Devgn Ffilms. The movie is slated for release on July 6.

It's probably old news that Shankar and Vikram will be coming together for a new movie, tentatively titled Therdal (election), that is to be based on the Indian Electoral System and its corrupted practises in the process of election.

Director Shankar, after the success of his blockbuster 'Endhiran' with Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the scripting work for his next project and is scouting for producers.

Rumor has it that Aascar Ravichandran just might take the project up in his hands. But the next big thing would be the hunt for a heroine to be cast opposite Chiyan Vikram, who is currently shooting for A.L Vijay's Thaandavam with Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson.

Director Shankar, who usually is very specific about the heroine in his films is keen on roping a leading actor with Bollywood presence.

According to industry speculations, Shankar's hunt for the heroine is already on and is looking for someone along the lines of Priyanka Chopra.

Recent reports confirm that director Shankar has been discussing 'Thendral' with Asin, who is also in consideration for the role. If all goes well, we will get to see the lovely lass returning to Tamil films with Shankar's Therdal.

Watch this space for an update on the cast..

Tamannah was a popular and much sought after model before films happened.

Now that Tamannah is one of the hottest heroines, she is also into brand endorsements campaigning as a brand ambassador for many products.

Tamanna has now been roped in as the brand ambassador of Fanta, a popular soft drink.

The actress will be doing a commercial for Fanta and will also be part of a promotional campaign where fans who are also Fanta drinkers will get the chance to meet her.

Tamannah seems all set to give some serious competition to Asin who is endorsing a rival soft drink. The hottie however didn't have much to add to this discussion except to share that she is happy to be associated with the brand.

Asin, who was recently seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the sequel of Sajid Khan's Housefull is now looking absolutely chic as she has lost weight and gotten a smashing makeover.

Asin is keenly missed in the South and producers who have worked with her in the past in Tamil and Telugu films are offering her roles expecting the actress to accept the same. Alas, Asin is still continuing to refuse the offers that come her way.

The Lovely Lass said that it is wonderful to be missed and that she keeps up with the Southern cinema. But for now she has her hands full with Bollywood films. Aside from Housefull 2 she is doing Rohit Shetty's Bol Bachchan with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan.

Asin is very keen to work with The King Khan as there were discussions to have her cast opposite Shahrukh Khan in the big screen adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's Two States: The Story of My Marriage.

Music can do wonders and music director and singer George Peter has utilised the power of music to create unity in the country.

George Peter along with his friends has come up with a multi-lingual song and the final mixing and mastering of the same is happening in A.R Rahman’s studio. The major attraction of this song is that several big stars and singers have joined together to promote brotherhood and unity in diversity.

Going by the video that are in the social networking sites, the song features who’s who of film and music industry and that includes Vikram, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Sudeep, Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Asin, Karthika, Lakshmi Rai, Bhavana and Mamta. It also has sport stars Saina Nehwal and Sreesanth along with musicians K J Yesudas, Vikku Vinayakaram, Shankar Mahadevan, Blaaze, KS Chitra, Shwetha Mohan, Vasundhara Das, Usha Uthup, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan and sons and Stephen Devassy.

Sajid Khan is back again to tickle your funny bone with Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen.

Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor and Chunky Pandey will come together again for the sequel of the 2010 comedy.

Malaika Arora Khan has done an item-number in Housefull 2 and Sajid-Wajid are the music directors of the movie.

Asin recently said that she would love to work with Shah Rukh Khan as she has already worked with the other two Khans in Bollywood -Aamir and Salman.

It looks like Asin's wish to act with the King Khan is now about to come true as she is all set to sign on the dotted line for a film with Shahrukh Khan himself.

The film will be based on the book - Two States: The Story of My Marriage by Chetan Bhagat.

Sajid Nadiadwala would be producing this venture with Vishal Bharadwaj wielding the megaphone to direct this film.

In the book, the female protagonist is a Tamilian and Asin's Southern roots make her an apt choice. Besides she is very comfortable with the producer having worked with him earlier in the sequel of Houseful.

Although she is shuttling between Bollywood and regional movies, Asin seems to be landing plump roles in Tamil as well.

After her last year hit Kavalan, if rumors are to be believed, Asin might be in the Shankar directed Thalaivan Irukkiran. Speculations are abuzz in the internet that she will play Kamal’s lead in Thalaivan Irukkiran.

It’s also reported that Telugu actor Prabhas, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Hollywood star Jackie Chan will also be part of the movie. Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, the movie is in its pre-production stage.

Trisha is thrilled with the overwhelming response that she has received on her recent film with Venkatesh, Bodyguard. Her role in Bodyguard that was originally played by Nayantara in the Malayalam version had Asin in its Tamil version, Kaavalan and Kareena Kapoor in its Bollywood remake.

Apparently Trisha's fans have been contacting her on social networking sites to compliment her on a job well done. In fact, they have been comparing her to famous legendary actresses like Savitri and Soundarya and the pretty lass felt humbled and thanked her fans for their love and appreciation.

Trisha who is now busy with a Telugu film Dammu with NTR Jr. and her Tamil film Samaran with Vishal, said that she will continue to do her best as an actress.

Asin is making heads turn wherever she goes these days.

The Diva looks chic after shedding some weight and sports some of the best outfits designed by the leading designers in the country. Asin is in for the all-new look and her makeover is the talk of the tinsel town, these days.

The pretty actress has two Bollywood films on hands - Bol Bachchan and Housefull 2 – which are to release later this year and with her new look she is likely to bag many more coveted projects.

It may come as a good news for all Rajnikanth fans that the actor had declared himself to be fit, fine and ready being all set to start his shot for Kochadaiyaan later next month.

The Superstar along with his spouse had recently attended a stage play by Y Gee Mahendra in Chennai. Rajinikanth had thoroughly enjoyed the show and heaped laurels on actor Y Gee Mahendra. After the play, Rajinikanth said "Thanks to the prayers of all my fans and well-wishers. I am back. Fully fit and I will resume shooting for Kochadaiyaan in a month."

Kochadaiyaan is an upcoming 3D Tamil film to be shot with the kind of performance capturing technology used in films such as Avatar (2009) and The Adventures of Tintin (2011). Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and written by K.S Ravikumar, the film will feature Rajinikanth in the lead role whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by A.R Rahman.

Initially, Anushka Shetty was approached to play the female lead role for Kochadaiyaan. However, it was later officially announced that Anushka Shetty was not part of the film. It was then rumoured that Asin and Vidya Balan were being considered for the female lead role, since producers preferred a Bollywood actress.

Soundarya Rajinikanth disclaimed all rumours that Aishwarya Rai was chosen to do a guest appearance in the film. In January 2012, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was approached for the lead role along with Rajinikanth, with Soundarya confirming the same.

Asin has decided to give television a try, say sources. The actress will reportedly appear in a television show titled Superstar Santa. The program is to be telecast on UTV. The actress has a couple of Hindi projects on hands for now and hopes television will open new avenues for her.

Asin, however, has made it clear that she is not hosting the show as stated by the media. The actress pointed out that she will be appearing in one of the episodes.

Asin entered the Tamil film industry with M Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi and reached the top slot with several smash hits. She shifted base in Bollywood after director AR Murugadoss offered her the role in the Hindi version of Ghajini.

Her decision to enter the small screen has surprised many of her fans but Asin says that it will help her widen her fan base.
