Shane Warne and Liz Hurley to marry soon

Cricket legend Shane Warne has reportedly bowled over actress Elizabeth Hurley by asking her to marry him before the end of this year.

Warne, 41, whose undercover love with Hurley came to light in December when they were caught kissing outside a London hotel, went down on one knee to propose to the British beauty on a yacht in Spain.

"He's definitely the one. I didn't know I'd ever feel this way about anyone," Hurley said.

A source, who was present on board, said, "It was just a beautiful moment when he proposed. Really romantic, and she said yes. There was no hesitation.

"The boat was moored in Marbella and the Packers were on board along with about 15 people, just close friends, no-one famous. Shane and Liz flew in for a few days and looked so in love during their time," the source added.

Model-actress Elizabeth Hurley has taken to Twitter to poke fun at rumours that she is the one behind her cricketer beau Shane Warne's dramatic make-over.

The 46-year-old beauty with a series of tweets in a sarcastic tone posted,

"I've decided to take full responsibility for Shane Warne's remarkable weight loss and will be publishing my secret, possibly evil, regime shortly. Please buy multiple copies to benefit my retirement fund (laughs)."

With her tweets, the Austin Powers star was clearly in the mood to tease Warne.

"I am about to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you may watch me as you slowly spoon up your thin and tasteless gruel. Then I'll sit on your back and make you do 200 one-armed press-ups. And perhaps pin you down and re-tattoo your eyeliner," she posted.

Warne credits Liz Hurley for his new look

A fitter and the slimmer looking Australian spin legend Shane Warne credited his girlfriend Liz Hurley for losing 22 pounds and said he feels better than he has done in years.

The colourful leg-spinner, who was never interested in his physique or appearance during his playing days, was photographed more muscle-bound and tanned on the set of Gossip Girl in New York.

The Daily Telegraph spotted him "sporting a tight blue T-shirt, dark glasses and a chic new hairdo and was almost unrecognisable from his former incarnation as a beefy, louty, knockabout bloke from Down Under."

"Since he met and started dating Hurley, he has morphed into an altogether more sophisticated creature. These days Warne seems to be styling himself, or being styled, on a cross between James Bond and a Ken doll," the daily said.

Warne had his eyebrows reshaped and has even admitted to using moisturising cream.

"Yes, I'm still a man," he said.

Liz Hurley tumbles in sky-high heels

Elizabeth Hurley fell victim to her sky-high heels as she took a tumble at a village fete in the Cotswolds in front of cricketer boyfriend Shane Warne.

Hurley, accompanied by Warne, was opening the Ampney Crucis Village Fete near her home in Gloucestershire in front of hundreds of villagers when the incident happened, reports the source.

Normally the epitome of elegance and poise, the model and actress was walking down some steps moments after cutting the ribbon to declare the fete open when her nude wedges got the better of her.

She lost her balance making a dive for the railings in a bid to stay upright and seemed to topple over on her left foot.

She did not appear to have hurt herself though as she was seen back on two feet within no time leafing through second hand books.

However, she did clutch Warne’s hand for the rest of the afternoon just in case she took another tumble.

What provides her with this consistent dose of sex appeal ? It is probably her oozing confidence or her determination to ask for more when she has the drive to go for a ride. With some photo shoot for a clothing line or something that’s probably only relevant to women with brittle bones or weak bladders or who need pills that soften their stool, but she’s still looking pretty damn awesome so who gives a crap.
