Actress Priyanka Chopra says her cousin actress Parineeti Chopra deserves a slap for saying that she finds it awkward to stand next to a fit and sexy Priyanka

"She needs a slap. I will throw her into the gym right now. I never heard her say something like that, but she is someone who is effervesent, energetic and beautiful. I guess it runs in the family," said Priyanka.

Parineeti lost oodles of weight for her debut film "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl". Her next, "Ishaqzaade" will hit theatres May 18. It features Boney Kapoor's son Arjun as her co-star.

Once he used to weigh an odd 140 kgs, and now Arjun Kapoor flashes his toned abs with ease. Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun stars in the Yashraj Films young flick Ishaqzaade and proves his mettle.

The new song Chokra Jawaan is out and along with Arjun it also features Gauhar Khan.

The bindaas track has Arjun celebrating his adolescence amidst his bratpack, and jiving along with the village belle, Gauhar Khan.

In the song Arjun matches step with the dazzling Gauhar Khan, who is a terrific dancer. The crackling chemistry between the two is evident on big screen. The song written by director Habib Faisal has a distinct Bollywood flavour of early 80s film.

Arjun is a delight to watch, especially when he is doing the killer dance moves lying on the floor, and also when he is trying to serenade Gauhar Khan. Who can believe the fitter-looking Arjun was once an overweight lad with no interest in acting!

Arjun Kapoor gives the credit for his makeover to Salman Khan.

It was Salman who got Arjun into acting. On the sets of Wanted, Salman reportedly told Arjun that he had the potential to become an actor and it was on his insistence that Arjun decided to lose weight and give acting a shot.

Salman used to observe his progress in workouts and helped him in grooming as an actor and also getting a flab-less body.

In Ishaqzaade Arjun plays Parma who falls in love with Parineeti Chopra.The song Chokra Jawaan belongs to him. Watch the video of the song here:

Yash Raj Films released the first trailer of Ishaqzaade introdicing Boney Kapoor's son Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra's cousin Parineeti Chopra, who was last seen opposite Ranveer Singhin YRF's Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

Ishaqzaade directed by directed by Habib Faisal has now peaked the interest in the film billed as a "love story of a passion ignited by hatred".

Sonam Kapoor presented the trailer of her cousin's debut film and she tweeted:

On a happier note, Ishaqzaade appears to have caught the fancy of Twitterati with many posting praise for the film's first look and its lead actors.

Make way for yet another Kapoor in our tinsel town… Meet Arjun Kapoor, son of filmmaker Boney Kapoor. The youngster is being launched by the prestigious banner Yash Raj Films. Recently YRF launched its new youth studio Y-Films at an event where they announced three movies – and one of them is 'Virus Diwan'.

Interestingly the person who discovered Arjun is none other than our macho Khan Salman. According to sources, the star realised that Arjun has an actor hidden in him and advised him to loose his weight (who was 140 kilos then) and also work on his image. “I don't know how he found a hero in me. I started training with him. I was literally with him all time. And he cut me to 85 kilos," revealed Arjun.

Later Shanu Sharma, the casting director, found him and asked Arjun for an audition - which clicked and he thus bagged his first movie.

'Virus Diwan' is being helmed by debutant Bumpy and the story revolves around Arjun who plays the title role of a computer hacker.
