The best of buddies, Arya and Vishal had a great outing together in Bala’s Avan Ivan.

We now hear that the duo is getting back together.

Arya is likely to do a cameo in Madha Gaja Raja aka MGR starring Vishal in the lead. The actor who currently has Irandam Ulagam and Vishnuvardhan's untitled film in hand, didn’t think a bit in giving his nod to do the cameo for his friend, say reports.

MGR also stars Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Anjali, Santhanam, Sadagopan Ramesh, Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood in important roles.

Richard Nathan is helming the camera for this film directed by Sundar C after the success of Kalakalappu (2012). Vijay Antony is composing the music for the film and actor Sada has been roped to perform for an item number in the film.

Salt N' Pepper the Malayalam hit that starred Lal, Shweta Menon, Mythili, Asif Ali & Baburaj was among the recent Malayalam flicks that made a mark for its take on the modern day youth.

The romantic comedy had Food playing an important role in the story with the tagline of the film being Oru Dosa Undakkiya Katha ("The story born out of a Dosa"). The film had a solid run at the box-office and also bagged the Kerala state awards.

Now the movie audiences across the nation would also get to experience this flick. All thanks to Prakash Raj who has procured the remake rights for Tamil, Hindi and Telugu versions of the film to be produced through his production house Duet Movies.

Prakash Raj has always been known for producing meaningful cinema and Salt and Pepper is the next step in his quest.

After his film Isai, S.J Suryah is all set to do a Tamil remake of the Telegu film 'Komaram Puli'. Suryah will be playing the lead role himself in this Tamil remake of blockbuster that had Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Nikisha Patel in the lead roles.

Isai is going to be a musical but will have some interesting twists and turns in the second half, Suryah promised. Newcomer, Savithri is the heroine.

One of the reasons for the buzz around the film is that S.J Suryah himself is composing the music for the film following the advice of A.R Rahman, who told Suryah that he had what it took to be a music composer. So after Isai is wrapped up, Suryah will try to prove his versatility with Puli.

After Puli, Suryah said that he will be doing another film in Tamil titled 'Ezhumalai/chitra'. He will play the lead role in this one too.

Prakash Raj and his production company 'Duet Movies' have officially announced their next project - Gauravam, a film to be directed by Radhamohan, who has successfully teamed up with this banner in the past for films like Azhagiya Theeye, Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum.

Allu Sirish, the nephew of Telugu megastar, Chiranjeevi is the hero and Yami Gupta who recently made her Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor will be the heroine.

Sirish hails from a family of superstars like Allu Arjun (brother), Ram Charan (cousin) and Pawan Kalyan (uncle). Allu Sirish is working hard to prove himself in Duet Movies' 'Gauravam' that will be released in both Tamil and Telugu.

The aspiring star had been keeping silent about his film debut until the film was finalized. The young actor to be, thanked Prakash Raj and Radhamohan for having faith in him and Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun for giving him this platform. He said that though he is from a filmy family, he takes nothing for granted and is grateful for this opportunity.

Prakash Raj is one of the most sought-after character artistes in Indian Cinema.

The actor is now on a roll being busy shooting in Mumbai for Dabaang during the daytime and nights shooting for another film in Bangalore.

Prakash Raj and Salman Khan recently had dinner together in Mumbai and the former been awed by the honesty of the latter tweeted about it on the microblogging website saying,

The actors might be foes in their upcoming sequel of Dabaang, but off screen they bond like old friends.

Saguni, directed by Shankar Dayal starring Karthi and Praneetha was expected to have a Tamil New Year release but unfortunately that seems unlikely now.
The producers, Dream Warriors while going through the rushes said that they feel the villain, Salim Ghouse's performance is not satisfactory. So it has been decided that entire portions of the film have to be shot again with another actor.

Prakash Raj who has been shooting for Dabaang 2 with Salman Khan has been signed on for Saguni. Now Prakash Raj and Karthi will rock together.

Santhanam and Radhika are also part of Saguni's cast and word is that they are the surprise packages in the film that is likely to be released in May.

Prakash Raj’s ‘Dhoni’ is to hit screens today on February 10th 2012.

“I’m very happy for the outcome of the film. I’m more satisfied as a director than as an actor and producer. I felt that it is my social responsibility and in order to give a small message to the society I made this film. I wish that the film reaches every human living on Earth. I feel honored to have worked with the greatest of talents and thank every member of the crew for helping me pull this off. Ilayaraja’s music is the highlight of this film,” said Prakash Raj - the actor/director/producer of 'Dhoni' soon after the preview show.

Traffic, a hit Malayalam film is going to be remade in Tamil with Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Radhika, Prasanna and Remya Nambeesan.

Rajesh Pillai, the director of the original film will helm the Tamil version as well and this film will also be called Traffic. Based on a real life event that took place in Chennai, Traffic will have multiple threads that will converge towards the climax.

Traffic is also going to be a multi - starrer and it is expected that a few more high profile additions will be made to the cast. This venture is being produced by Radhika Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen. Once the director wraps up this film, he will be doing a Hindi version as well.

Trisha is flying down to Bangkok to join the Samaran unit of Actor Vishal and director Thiru along with other cast and crew of the film.

The crew has been camping in Bangkok for the past one month shooting some important scenes and now Trisha will be joining them. The actress is thrilled to share the screen space with Vishal for the first time and her role in Samaran is said to be very meaty.

Samaran is an upcoming action film directed by Thiru, with whom Vishal had collaborated in Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai before. This time Vishal would join hands with Trisha Krishnan as the lead with Sunaina, Prakash Raj and Milind Soman playing pivotal roles in the film.

Mahesh Babu, riding high on the success of Dookudu, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'The Businessman'.

The Businessman directed by Puri Jagannadh has Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal playing the lead roles and is to be released on January 11th, 2012 with the entire crew trying to complete the project as soon as possible.

After Wanted, actor Prakash Raj will be seen with Salman Khan once again. He will play the main villain in Dabangg 2, says actor-producer Arbaaz Khan.

"The extremely talented actor Prakash Raj is the main villian of Dabangg 2," Arbaaz posted on his Twitter page recently.

The southern actor-filmmaker is excited about the new role.

"Just heard the narration of Dabangg 2. Arbaaz has a sureshot winner on hand. Happy and excited to join Salman bhai once again. Cheers!!!" Prakash Raj tweeted.

This has put a question mark on actor Sonu Sood's role in Dabangg 2, the sequel to the 2010 action blockbuster Dabangg.

Sonu played Chaddi Singh, the bad man in the original movie. But if Prakash Raj will play the "main villain" in the sequel, one wonders what will happen to Sonu.

But Sonu, who is repeating his villainous act in Osthi Tamil remake of the film, tweeted: "@arbaazSkhan is a fab guy, I know he will make a great film. I will always be there with him may be not as an actor this time but as a brother."

However, what will be retained in the sequel is the pairing of Salman and Sonakshi Sinha.

Dabangg 2 will release in December 2012.

The buzz now is that Prakash Raj has approached the Indian cricket captain M S Dhoni requiring him to appear in a guest role in his forthcoming film Dhoni.

Dhoni is expected to agree for the cameo as the film is titled after him and is touted to be a film for Children that raises a lot of possibilities that the cricketer may star in it.

Discussions about Dhoni's cameo in Prakash Raj's Dhoni are still in the initial stages and an announcement is expected very soon. It may be recalled that there was news that Prabhu Deva has done a guest role in Dhoni.

The film is being directed by Prakash Raj, who is also producing it under his banner Duet Films. Prakash Raj has also donned the main role in Dhoni.

Prakash Raj is back to what he does best, making off beat movies within the commercial format. His previous productions like Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum stands proof to it.

Having directed his first Kannada film, Naanu Nanna Kanasu - the National Award winning actor and producer can scarcely contain his excitement over his next film. He has titled the project "Dhoni" after Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni.

Prakash Raj says: “Dhoni is a bilingual film that I'm directing in Tamil and Telugu. For me it is another journey. The film deals with the pressure that children undergo these days in schools and will enable every viewer to connect the story to their real lives”.

The National Award winner is passionate of his project Dhoni and is proud that music maestro Ilaiyaraja has come onboard this project to honor Prakash Raj's special request for the same.

Dhoni starring Prakash Raj , Mughda Godse and Master Akash in the lead is produced by Prakash Raj's Duet Movies and is slated for a December release.

Bharath is one of the talented actors in Kollywood who started his career with the sensational film Boys more than eight years ago.

Although he was well received with Boys smashing several records, Bharath established himself as an actor with another film Kadhal that later on was declared to be a big hit.

In his recentl film Vaanam, Bharath had an important role to play and the actor has now made shocking revelations during the making of this film.

A source close to Bharath said that the actor felt that he was sidelined in the promotions of ‘Vaanam‘, and all the attention was given to Simbhu that had upset and angered Bharath.

Bharath himself said that, “Before accepting the offer, I was told that the cast of Vaanam has Simbhu, Anushka, Prakashraj and Sonia Agarwal alongside with equal importance given to everybody in the cast.

But to my shock, I realized that I was fooled only during the release of the film,” said the actor.

Bharath is however very confident that all his future films like Yuvan Yuvathi, Thiruthani and 555 will be good films and he would not have bitter experience again.

The source revealed that Bharath has been working very hard for the success of these films and to establish himself as a big star.

Ajay Devgn starrer Singham raked up to controversy on the very first day of its release in the state of Karnataka on Friday 22nd July.

Protesters from Karnataka Rakshana Vedike tore movie posters and damaged facilities in theatres in Bidar, Hubli, Bagalkot, Raichur, and Bijapur, alleging that Kannadigas were portrayed in a disparaging manner in the movie. They were furious about a particular reference to Kannadigas being referred as dogs in the movie, in a line of dialogue delivered by Devgn.

Prakashraj, who plays the villain, has his origin in Karnataka and the controversial scene starts off with Prakashraj threatening Devgn that he would bring 1,000 people from Karnataka border to thrash him. Ajay (who plays Bhajirao Singham, a Maratha) retorts that one lion would suffice to shoo away a thousand dogs.

"This is an insult to Kannadigas," said an angry Suresh Kumar, a protester in Bidar.

Many theatres stopped the shows. The protests too came down after the distributors announced that the controversial dialogue had been removed.

Actor Prakashraj said that the dialogue has been misunderstood and blown out of proportion.

"There is nothing controversial about it. I am a Kannadiga. How would I allow conversations that provide pain to people of Karnataka in any movie in which I am cast?" he asked.

He added that in the view of public interest, the scene has now been removed.

Prakash Raj might just direct a Tamil film soon. There is no word about the script or the cast for the thespian's directorial venture.

For the moment, Prakash Raj is playing things close to his chest as he wants to make sure that everything is finalized to his satisfaction before making any announcements.

He went on a road trip with his family to chill out and recharge his batteries. Having spent the time letting his hair down with loved ones, he feels rejuvenated and is keen to establish himself as a director.

He has already proved his mettle as an actor and producer so he is relishing this new challenge.

Prakash Raj seems to be the perfect husband as he is encouraging and supporting wife, Pony Verma's career in a big way. They have opened a dance school in Mumbai called Indian School of Performing Arts. It aims to produce the finest dancers in the country. The dance school will be offering dance lessons in the following genres - Bollywood style, hip - hop, salsa, cha - cha - cha, samba, reggae, jazz, belly dancing and other avante garde dance styles.

The opening ceremony held on June 9th was well attended with Bollywood celebs like Govinda, Mugdha Godse, Vivek Oberoi, Neetu Chandra, and Sanjay Leela Bansali putting in an appearance. The stars danced to a few hit numbers and made the event a lot of fun.

Prakash Raj and Pony have revealed that they believe their dance school will be a success and they will also be opening branches in other parts of the country, particularly Chennai and Hyderabad.

For a filmmaker each of his ventures is like his baby. So when it comes to shooting a movie he wouldn't compromise on anything, even if it means playing on his own life. Take this noted person of our B-town for instance....

On a typical film set where most directors are found sitting by the camera in their director's chair calling out action, Prakash Jha is always found in midst of the action.

Prakash Jha who is known to be one director who takes on challenging subjects with his films, seems to have taken a few during the shooting of his forthcoming multi-starrer film 'Aarakshan'. One would always find Jha with the film camera on an edge of a bridge without support, or on a crane 50 odd ft above the ground, amidst of a chaotic crowd or under a running bulldozer to get a shot just right.

Amitabh Bachchan who is working with Jha for the first time, rightly dubbed him as a "Khatron Ka Khiladi."

Being the daredevil director, Prakash Jha escapes a few almost accidents during the shoot. It happened twice during shooting, while taking a shot under the bulldozer, the driver didn't hear the command to "Stop" from the action director, almost running over Jha!

Second time, he wasn't as lucky as he takes off on a scooter by himself during a location shift, and gets into an accident. Unphased by the injury the "Khatron Ka Khiladi". Prakash Jha remarked to his crew jokingly, "You've made me fall, but don't think I have fallen from grace."

Our advice to you, Sirji play it safe..!!
