Actress Ananya got engaged to businessman Anjaneyan in a formal ceremony. Shortly after that, controversy struck in, when the fact came to light that Anjaneyan had already been married.

Ananya's parents, on learning about the prior marriage of their daughter's groom Anjaneyan were furious and found that he was awaiting for the divorce to come through.

The actor's father, Gopala Krishnan Nair lodged a cheating complaint against Anjaneyan assuming that the affair initiated was somehow ended.

Now it is heard that Ananya has eloped with Anjaneyan and is living with him. Her parents have confirmed that she has moved out of the house but insist that it is only for professional reasons.

As for Anjaneyan, they said that there would be a proper wedding ceremony once his divorce is finalized.

Director Sasikumar of Subramaniapuram fame makes acting debut in Malayalam with Masters that has Prithviraj, Ananya and Piaa Bajpai in the leading roles.

Masters, directed by Johny Antony is an upcoming Malayalam action thriller film that revolves around the friendship of two childhood friends who join hands to unravel the mystery behind a horrendous incident despite having landed in two separate careers.

Prithviraj plays ASP Sriramakrishnan, an impulsive police officer and Sasikumar plays Milan Paul, a news reporter.

The film is in the post production stage and Sasikumar’s look in the film is the talk of the town.

The film is expected to be released by the end of March.

The success of Engeyum Eppothum had placed Ananya in an enviable position in Kollywood.

Though Ananya was not seen in too many Tamil films after her first release Nadodigal, the actress has been busy in the Malayalam film industry.

Ananya says that she is getting offers in Tamil and Telugu after the release of Engeyum Eppothum but she is very choosy as the script and her role is very important.

The actress however is willing to make one exception to sign up Tamil films. She says that if it is an Ajith, Vijay or Suriya starrer then she would ink the deal immediately.
