Raaz 3 released last week to packed houses and since then, the appreciation that the film has received from the audiences has been unanimous.

The film has delivered what it has promised - thrills, scares and a bit of sleaze too. Single screens and the 3D version at multiplexes have been seeing huge footfalls.

The first weekend alone raked in about 35 crores nett as expected, which is huge. This will turn out to be Emraan Hashmi's biggest hit even though this film would be credited more for its horror quotient and Bipasha Basu's stunning show.

The film also managed to breach the elite club of films which crossed 10 crores nett on the first day by reaching 10.25 crores on Friday.

An actor by chance, former model Bipasha Basu says that she learnt on the job and that each film taught her something.

"I never had any plans to act. I became an actor by chance, learnt on the job and became better with every film that I did. Everything that I have today is given by the film industry. Right now the phase that I am in, I know I will do good work and people will like me," said Bipasha Basu.

The 33-year-old made her acting debut with 2001 hit thriller "Ajnabee" and got noticed in 2003 for her bold role in "Jism". She has worked in Telugu, Bengali and Tamil films too.

Last seen in "Jodi Breakers", Bipasha will next be seen in filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's "Raaz 3" releasing Sep 7.

Bipasha Basu’s dusky beauty and oomph factor have always been a draw for filmmakers and audiences alike. But for the poster of her upcoming film Raaz 3, the sultry actor has raised the bar even higher with a risqué photo shoot.

Incidentally, producers Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, who worked with Bipasha 10 years ago in Raaz (2002), didn’t want her to do the shoot.

An insider reveals, “The Bhatts felt the pose and outfit were too bold and didn’t want Bipasha to do it, thinking she might be uncomfortable. Also, they felt they might have to tone down the concept eventually. So they planned to get a body double and morph Bipasha’s face onto the model’s body later. But when she found out, the actor insisted on doing it herself.”

Bipasha says, “When I learnt about the concept, I decided to do it. I had no qualms. It’s my movie and I should be shooting for the poster. I understand that it was required to show the film’s theme in the right light. I have always been comfortable in my skin and never been conscious of my body. It was the right decision.”

The trailer of Raaz 3, the Vikram Bhatt directed sequel to Mohit Suri's 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues (2009)' is all set to be unveiled with Sunny Leone's Bollywood debut 'Jism 2' that is slated to release on 3rd August,2012.

Pooja believes that she has chosen a safe release date for her maiden erotic thriller that also features Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh romancing Sunny like Bollywood Cinema has never seen before.

"Yes, It was a decision taken together to release the trailer of 'Raaz 3' with 'Jism 2'. You all will see Bipasha and Sunny together this August 3rd," said actor-turned-director Pooja Bhatt, who has helmed the sequel of the film 'Jism (2003)'.

"We have a clean week as 'Ek Tha Tiger' is coming on Aug 15 and the release of 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' has preponed to July 27," she added.

'Raaz 3' featuring Bipasha Basu along with Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta boasts of the most spine chilling moments in stereoscopic 3D and is reported to be a direct sequel to the 2009 horror-thriller 'Raaz - The Mystery Continues' that had Emraan and Kangna in the lead.

The secret unveils 7th September.

Paoli Dam, who took the B-town by storm by doing some erotic scenes in her debut movie 'Hate Story' under Vikram Bhatt’s production, said that she will continue to do intimate scenes even in the future.

The actor, who has bagged the next film 'Love Games' again under Vikram Bhatt’s production, also said that she has no inhibitions being a professional actor that she is for a living.

Talking about Love Story, the seducing Paoli said, “The film is about wife swapping, and it has high sexual content. I know that Bhatt has cast me in this film again, as I don't have any issues performing any kind of intimate scenes that the script would demand.”

Paoli said that she knows the difference between vulgarity and sensuality and will not cross her limitations. She also said that she is not interested in parallel cinema, as all the films are only aimed to make money.

Esha Gupta, the gorgeous model from Delhi is one lucky girl.

The model turned actor, who will be making her Bollywood debut with ‘Jannat 2’ opposite Emraan Hashmi is making waves even before the film has hit the theatres. She has not signed up for Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Raaz 3’ and Prakash Jha’s ‘Chakravyuh’ but has also found a fan in filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

Bhatt, who is also the producer of ‘Jannat 2’, is all praise for Esha.

Speaking to a daily, the veteran filmmaker said, "Esha`s ethos is very Indian. She looks like Angelina Jolie but she has the flavour of India still in her. She knows that sensuality is an essential attribute of the female animal. However the mystique needs to be retained as a survival tool. Esha celebrates her feminine body and yet her ambition is rooted in real India. She has taken a quantum leap from Jannat-2 to Raaz-3 and she has a high emotional quotient and the ability to respond when she is challenged. She came back the other day from an outdoor shoot and I asked her `how did your schedule go?` She replied, `They thought I look like Angelina Jolie but they also commented that I act like Smita Patil.` That reveals her. That is the way she wants the world to perceive her."

Considering that bold and sexy roles are the norm these days, would we see Esha doing a ‘Jism’ ever in her career?

“I can`t shake of the image of Bipasha walking out of the water in a white dress with a soaked chiselled body. But you`ll have to wait for a sexy me, till someone offers something sexy," said the actor without waiting a while.

Considering that many already compare you to the sexy Jolie, the sexy roles will be coming your way very soon, Esha!

Paoli Dam, the bong bombshell who made her Bollywood acting debut with its first ever erotica 'Hate Story' has been the talk of the town for quite sometime now.

Producer Vikram Bhatt launched Bengali seductress Paoli Dam into Bollywood with 'Hate Story' requiring the debutante not just exhibit her acting skills but also what it takes to become an overnight B-Town Celebrity.

Hate story, the film is about a woman who becomes a sex worker to get even with the man who brutally deceives her love and f#cks her up. Paoli Dam's immense contribution towards her maiden venture aroused more than just eye-brows and 'Hate Story' has now become a success story with repeated audiences.

Paoli Dam is now embarking upon yet another film with Producer-director Vikram Bhatt. This film has been titled 'Love Games' is takes on a bold subject of wife-swapping.

Bhatt, who has been researching on the subject, has some startling statistics on the subject.

Actor Karisma Kapoor and her much expected comeback with Vikram Bhatt's 'Dangerous Ishq' promises exhibition of more than the actor's acting skills. The sultry looking actor seems unaffected by time looking glamorous than ever with her very own charisma.

"Dangerous Ishhq is a bold movie and I don't mind doing bold scenes if the script demands," said Karishma when inquired of her comeback film.

Karisma's character in Dangerous Ishhq is of a super model who gives up her career to marry the man she loves. Before the marriage, her fiance is kidnapped by the villain who has been chasing her through many lifetimes.

The film is all set to release on May 11.

It looks like Bangla bombshell Paoli Dam’s plans to seduce the nation into an orgasmic stupor with her never-before bold-and-brazen love-making act would now have to be content with a relatively tame visual treatment.

On Monday afternoon Paoli’s ‘I-fuk-with-those-who-fuk-with me’ shock therapy in the film Hate Story got a bit of a jolt when the censorboard ordered all the love-making scenes to be drastically reduced.

“All the love-making scenes, around 6 of them, were reduced by 50 percent and the film was given an ‘A’ certificate. Surprisingly the hard-hitting dialogues have been left intact and there weren't any cuts of the dialogue only visuals,” said J.P Singh, the CBFC (censorboad of film certifications)’s Regional Officer Mumbai on the reduction of sex content in the erotic thriller 'Hate Story' featuring Paoli Dam.

While Vivek Agnihotri, the director of 'Hate Story' was unaware of the censorial developments in getting the prints ready, Producer Vikram Bhatt seemed surprisingly gung-ho with the cuts.

“The censorboard has been great. They’ve passed all the dialogues and only got us to cut the excesses in the love-making scenes. I’m extremely pleased with their progressive thinking,” said Bhatt.

The first look of Hate Story promises a steamy journey ahead.

A mystery girl with her bare back and the titillating setting of a gun and a tattoo - the poster of Vikram Bhatt's Hate Story is bold, daring and different.

The identity of the girl is being kept under wraps.

The movie, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, features Nikhil Dwivedi, Paoli Dam and Gulshan Devaiya.

Bengali actress Paoli Dam is known to have done one of the boldest scenes in Bengali cinema in Chatrak. But it is uncertain if the girl in the picture is her.

Bipasha Basu who rose to fame with two Bhatt films--Jism and Raaz--had reportedly enraged the directors after she turned down the lead role in Mukesh Bhatt's last film Murder 2.

Citing date issues, the Bong bombshell had also backed out from performing an item number. However, it looks like all that is forgiven and forgotten.

On Thursday, Bipasha signed for the lead role in Raaz 3. The film will be directed by Raaz director Vikram Bhatt and will be made in 4D.

Mukesh Bhatt said, "It is a homecoming for both Bipasha and Vikram. Yes, we did have issues earlier but, in a family, there are always different point of views that arise till the members realise that amendments need to be made."

"This is where they started and this film brought recognition to both Vikram and Bipasha," he added.

When Mukesh was asked who made the first move, he said, "Being in the same business, we keep bumping into each other. Bipasha expressed a desire to work with us again and she loved the Raaz 3 script. It is a very challenging and powerful role for her."

Vikram, who will be directing the said, "Bipasha is a very important part of the team that created Raaz as a brand.I am happy to be working with her again and hope to create the same magic with the already heady pair of Emi (Emraan Hashmi) and Jackie (Jacqueline Fernandes)."

Confirming that she has signed on the dotted line, Bips said, "I have a long and fruitful relationship with Vishesh films. I am very fond of both Maheshji and Mukeshji. They have given me two of my best films of which, Raaz, my second movie, was a golden jubilee hit. It was only a matter of time before we worked together."

Talking about the film, she said, "My role in Raaz 3 seems to be a very challenging one and the director is not only very good at his craft, but has also been a friend for a long time. The thought of working with my own people gives me a high. It is a terrific combination," she added.

Karisma Kapoor, who is returning to silver screen with Dangerous Ishq 3D, has told its director Vikram Bhatt that her favourite costume designer Manish Malhotra should be on board.

The actress, who bid adieu to movies after marrying Delhi-based industrialist Sanjay Kapur in 2003, met Bhatt last week at her residence.

During the incisive chat, Karisma discussed every aspect of her comeback film at length. She apparently told the director that she would be able to work only around her baby's daily schedules.

The intricate and historically-relevant costumes of the film's protagonist that take her through five different eras are to be researched by Nidhi Yasha, who designed the costumes for Bhatt's Haunted 3D.

Karisma, who has hardly ever worked with any other designer, gently but firmly asked for Manish to do her clothes.

"There was no compulsion to take on Manish. He is the best in the business of clothes and it'd be a pleasure and privilege to work with him. Nidhi Yasha would now be researching Karisma's clothes. Manish would actually be designing them," said Bhatt.

Karisma, who entered Bollwyood in 1991 with Prem Qaidi, featured in hits like Coolie No.1, Hero No.1, Raja Hindustani, Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Zubeidaa.

After failing to convince Vidya Balan and then Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the female lead in his remake of Satte Pe Satta, Soham Shah seems to have finally found his lady to fill in Hema Malini's shoes.

Sanjay Dutt, the producer and the lead actor of the project wants an Indian looking girl and karisma seemed to fit well into the character.

Initially, when Sanjay Dutt had approached karisma, she was not too keen about her comeback. However after that she has changed her mind and signed Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Dangerous Ishq’.

Sanjay Dutt is hopeful that Karisma will finally say a ’Yes’ to the project.

The Bhatts want Prachi Desai to shed her inhibitions in their film Informer with Emraan Hashmi.

They have told her to go bare-dare and get the sexy tag, as they have done with their earlier heroines, Mallika Sherawat, Kangna Ranuat and Jacqueline Fernandes.

Let's see how far Prachi will go with the skin fest; considering that her close bond with mentor Ekta Kapoor has gone kaput, the girl might as well go for a major image makeover.

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has apparently convinced actress Karisma Kapur to make a comeback with his slick 3D thriller "Dangerous Ishq".

Said a source close to the project: "Vikram has met Karisma several times. She loves the script of Dangerous Ishq. It has an author-backed role for her with many shades. Just the kind of character she has been looking for."

"She has made up her mind to do the film," the source added.

Bhatt was determined to get Karisma at any price. He could afford it after Haunted, which has become the highest-grossing horror film in India of all times.

Bhatt said: "Yes, "Haunted" had made a huge profit. And yes I can afford to pay my stars well. It's a powerful role for a 30-plus actress who is stunning and talented."

Karisma, whose last screen appearance was in Suneel Darshan's "Mere Jeevan Saathi" in 2002, has been in search of the right role to return to cinema with.
