Ajith is famous for his adventurous streak that includes a fondness for fast bikes and motor racing.
His latest passion is flying and has been taking lessons and recently obtained a license for flying commercial planes and assorted aircrafts.
Now that certainly made him a qualified Pilot while most don't get to be that even on reel.
It has been reported that Ajith has put in an order for a small aircraft that seats five. He wishes to put his lessons to practical use and develop his new hobby. It is the perfect outlet for him after trying the world of cinema.
The actor has grand plans for his new toy and is thinking of using it in his upcoming action films like Billa 2 and the one with Jayam Raja. He is used to soaring to the top so we are guessing this is nothing new to him!

The shooting of Mankatha, Ajith’s forthcoming release, is almost over, sources say. The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and has a bevy of stars including Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali and others. With this film nearing completion, there is a strong speculation that Ajith will move over to Billa 2.
But Billa 2 may not be Ajith’s next film. Yes, sources in Kollywood say that Ajith is thrilled over the script that Jayam Raja had narrated to him recently and want to complete the film’s shooting at one go before moving over to Billa 2. However, there is no official confirmation on this.
Director Chakri Toleti wants to leave no stone unturned for his mega project with Ajith, Billa 2. He has got Hemant Chaturvedi to do the cinematography for the film. This cameraman is a big name in Bollywood and has won acclaim for his work in blockbuster movies like Company, Maqbool, and Kurban.
This will be his first film in Tamil and Hemant is expected to create some magnificent visuals going by his previous works. There was some controversy surrounding the film, when Vishnuvardhan who had directed the earlier Billa could not do the project due to prior commitments.
The director now wants to ensure that everything goes smoothly all the way to the finish line and is getting ready to begin shooting in May.
