Namitha had a meaty role in the Ajith starrer Billa, though Nayanthara was the main female lead.Wishing Billa II team all success, Namitha said that she wanted to be a part of the film but unfortunately it did not happen.
Billa II was initially to be directed by Vishnuvardhan but the project fell on the hands of Chakri Toleti who is now directing the film with Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah playing Ajith’s lead pairs in this film.
Billa II had music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
