Apparently the Hindi version does not have any takers because Gautham's recent release 'Ek Deewana Tha' failed at the box office.
Apparently the Hindi version does not have any takers because Gautham's recent release 'Ek Deewana Tha' failed at the box office.

Rachaa featuring Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan will be released in Tamil as Ragalai.
RB Choudhary and his Super Good Films are the producers. Earlier, Ram Charan's Magadheera was released in Tamil as Maaveeran.
Ragalai will also feature Parthiepan and Ajmal in pivotal roles.
Tamannaah was last seen in Venghai with Dhanush in Tamil. She is currently working on a bilingual with Ram which is also to be released in Tamil as Yen Endraal Kadhal Enben.
Following the reports that Ram had walked out of the film, it was said that Jiiva had bagged the offer. But, Jiiva has now confirmed that he is not doing the Telugu version.
The star said that the Tamil version is being filmed at the moment and he is very busy with it.
Jiiva, however, refused to disclose who would be doing the Telugu version of Gowtham Menon's Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham.

It was opined by many that Ram was being unprofessional.
Ram has cleared the air and said that he really wanted to do the film and had somehow found the dates in a jam packed schedule. However, the decision to make it a trilingual was sudden and that would cause delay. Moreover the dates would clash with his other film Endhukante Premanta. The other stuff that has been reported were all rumors made up to add masala to the story, he added.
Gautham Menon's ambitious trilingual, to be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi has suffered a setback. Jiiva, Ram and Aditya Roy Kapoor were roped in to play the lead roles and Samantha was the lucky heroine who was to be in all three versions.
Ram apparently has opted to leave the project.
The reason is that Ram was kept waiting while Jiiva and Aditya finished shooting the scene in order. He felt that he was wasting his precious time and decided to walk out.
Gautham had timed the shoot so that the actors could perform in order of seniority but Ram following his recent hit, Kandireega is big news in Andhra Pradesh and did not take kindly to this treatment.
Now Gautham is wondering who will be willing to step in at the nth hour.
Jiiva has quite a fan base following even in AP ever since the dubbed version of Ko as Rangam went on to score at the box office, so he might just do the Telugu version as well.

Samantha has to repeatedly perform the same scene every day of the shoot with all her male costars Jiiva, Ram and Aditya Roy Kapoor. It is very challenging for her to do the same thing thrice and to bring something fresh to the portrayal.
The petite charmer is exhausted and apparently doesn't have time for anything even to have a proper meal!
Samantha is thriving under the pressure because Gautham is her favorite director and he gave her a big break with Ye Maya Chesave, which was the Telugu version of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya.
Tamannah Bhatia seems to dropped off the radar in K’town of late? Though rumour mongers may attribute diverse reasons for her disappearance from the Tamil scene, the actress opened up in an exclusive chat.
“Where could I have gone? My next Tamil flick Vengai, with Dhanush is ready for its release and Hari sir has given me a beautiful role in the movie. I play a simple-looking college girl from a small town. It’s a typical mass entertainer”.
The Sirutthai girl says her call sheet diary is full for the entire year with Tollywood movies. “It is just that I got busy with Telugu films. I am happy with my recent film, 100% Love with Naga Chaitanya, which was a simple love story with lots of interesting and cute twists. My next film, Badrinath with Allu Arjun is also wrapped and will soon hit the cinema halls”, she adds.Looking at the sizzling promo stills, one wonders whether Tamannah was game for a skin show in T’town. “Oh no,” she denies any such notion and continues, “The movie is set against a temple backdrop and Allu Arjun plays an Indian Samurai. It is just the song sequences where I wear glam outfits.”
According to sources, the movie has set new records at the box-office in Kerala. ‘Bunny’ as Allu Arjun’s friends call him, enjoys a big market in God’s own country.
The Malayalam dubbing rights are said to have been sold for a record breaking 1.10 crore rupees and the movie is being released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously.
Is she dubbing her own voice like she did for 100% Love? “Dubbing my voice in Telugu or Tamil is a time-consuming process since I take a long time to master the language spoken in each film. So, when there’s a lineup of movies, I can’t do justice to each one.”Even before its commencement, Rachcha, her next flick with Ram Charan Teja, has generated a lot of buzz in tinsel town. Grapevine has it that Tamannah is going to expose her svelte bod to the hilt by sporting a bikini in Rachcha. Industry pundits add that Ram Charan will be flaunting an 8-pack physique. Add Tamannah’s oomph factor and it will be an entertainment unlimited. The pretty girl laughs it off as a ‘pure unadulterated rumour’.
“I guess the producers who approach me for a film know very well that I have a couple of pre-conditions in the contract itself and that I will never sport a bikini or act in an explicit kissing scene. This will probably clear yet another baseless rumour that I will be doing a lip-lock with Jr NTR in my upcoming film Ooseravalli,” asserts the ravishing girl.
There is another film which Tamannah has signed with Ram as the hero, it’s called Mana Love Story. As of now, Tamanaah is going great guns in T’town!
