Looks like happy days are here again for Amala Paul.

Having been part of successful films like Vettai, Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal, Kaadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi and the latest Malayalam film Run Baby Run, the Kerala girl has taken to working out in a big way as she wants to look glamorous and toned for her future films.

Now one person who is appreciative of her commitment to fitness is actor Sarath Kumar, himself a fitness freak.

The duo have been bonding over their shared passion and Amala teasingly informs everyone that she is the one who gives special training tips to Sarath Kumar! Of course, the actor is a good sport and finds her assertion very amusing.

Meanwhile on the career front too, the petite actor appears to be in control of her affairs and recently signed up for a massive Telugu project opposite 'Stylish Star' Allu Arjun directed by none other than Puri Jagannath of Pokkiri fame.

Amala Paul is thrilled to have this opportunity and is eager to get started.

Ileana D'Cruz is very happy with the warm response that she has received so far for her Bollywood debut 'Barfi!' directed by Anurag Basu.

The hot and sexy actor revealed that she was earlier offered an opportunity to work with Salman Khan in the Prabhu Deva directed 'Wanted  (2009)' which was the Hindi remake of the Telugu film 'Pokkiri (2006)' directed by Puri Jagannadh starring herself and Mahesh Babu in the lead.

"Albeit I was excited to work with Salman, I felt that I was not ready for Bollywood then. So I allowed the opportunity to slip through my fingers," said the goan beauty admitting that she would love to work with Salman if she's offered a chance again.

However, the 'Nanban' heroine was quick to clarify that she had no regrets about refusing the given opportunity to act with Salman Khan and was proud to make her Bollywood debut with 'Barfi!'.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and actor Abhishek Bachchan, who worked together in Naach, Sarkar and Sarkar Raj, will join hands again for the remake of the Telugu film Businessman.

Jagannath has also written and directed the original movie, which starred Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles.

Varma is currently working on Department where southern star Rana Daggubati will be seen as a grungy policeman - a role that was earlier reserved for Abhishek Bachchan.

"Finally it's confirmed...me and Puri Jagannath together are making the remake of the blockbuster Telugu hit Businessman with Abhishek Bachchan," Varma tweeted.

Kajal Agarwal is happy that lady luck is smiling on her.

Though the actress was caught in several controversies recently, there is no dearth of projects for her. Kajal will be seen in Matraan, which has Suriya in the lead and directed by KV Anand. Further, the actress also bagged Thuppaki in which she plays Vijay’s love-interest.

All this has Kajal happy and she is reported to be thanking her lucky stars for having her paired up with the leading actors in Kollywood.

It is worth mentioning here that Kajal’s latest Telugu release, The Businessman, with Mahesh Babu in the lead, was also a huge success.

After the success of Businessman, starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal, Puri Jagannadh is getting ready to direct his next film roping Pawan Kalyan to play the lead role with leading lady's role going to Kajal Aggarwal again.

Businessman interestingly was Kajal Aggarwal's first working experience with director Puri Jagannadh and the director offering her his next proves how comfy the director is with the actor.

Kajal is now very busy with movies like Maatraan with Suriya, Thuppakki with Vijay and now Puri Jagannadh's next opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Seems like somebody is on a spree.

Pawan is currently busy with Gabbar Singh, the Hindi remake of Dabangg with Shruti Haasan as his lead girl. The Power Star will move to the sets of the Puri Jagannadh’s film after wrapping Gabbar Singh up.

Mahesh Babu’s The Businessman is all set for Pongal release and the distribution and remake rights have been bought by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.

The film is directed by Puri Jagannath and it has Kajal Agarwal playing the lead lady.

It may be noted that Studio Green is the production house owned by a close relative of actors Suriya and Karthi and with the remake rights in place we can see either of them to star in remake of The Businessman.

Businessman, is an upcoming film directed by Puri Jagannath with Prince Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead.

Businessman is one of the highly anticipated films to release early in 2012 after Mahesh's Dookudu that created collection records across the globe.

The music for Businessman is composed by Thaman who has been rocking down South with hits like Dookudu and Osthe still reigning the charts.

The title track will have Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannath lending their voices and a promo video has been planned featuring them and Thaman as well to be shot in a studio in a casual setting rather reminiscent of Kolaveri di, which is currently the rage across the globe.

The comparison was inevitable and fans voiced the opinion that Mahesh Babu was copying Dhanush.

Thaman has begged the fans not to compare the two tracks as they are entirely different. He said they all think that Kolaveri di is awesome and they have no intention of trying to emulate its feat.

Mahesh Babu, riding high on the success of Dookudu, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'The Businessman'.

The Businessman directed by Puri Jagannadh has Mahesh Babu and Kajal Agarwal playing the lead roles and is to be released on January 11th, 2012 with the entire crew trying to complete the project as soon as possible.

Interestingly, The Businessman will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam as well. Yes, the film will be dubbed in both the languages and would hit the screens on the same day because of the immense popularity that the star enjoys in both the states.

Puri Jagannadh gave Asin a break with a role in his Telugu blockbuster 'Amma Naana O Tamilammayi'. It is to be noted that she reprised the same role in the Tamil remake M. Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi, making her debut with a grand success.

The director is currently on a hot streak with his films like Pokkiri and Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap hitting the bull's eye at the box office. And with this going on, all the Bollywood A-listers are keen on working with him.

There is a talk that Amma Naana O Tamilammayi will also be remade in Hindi with Salman Khan in the lead for which Asin has expressed her desire to reprise her role again which Puri seconds as a good idea with Asin being Salman's lucky charm.

With Salman being so unlikely to raise objections, Puri and Asin would soon be joinging hands again if all goes as planned.

While Aamir Khan's 'Delhi Belly' has opened to magnanimous figures, 'Bbuddah' started slow but picked up over the weekend.

The box-office seems to be buzzing with activity. After last week's solo release Double Dhamaal which opened to good numbers, the two releases of this week – Delhi Belly and Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap are keeping the ticket windows crowded.

Thanks to the immense hype surrounding the movie, Delhi Belly collected a whopping Rs 26.4 crore over the opening weekend. The day wise break-up is Friday – Rs 7.15 crore, Saturday – Rs 8.50 crore and Sunday – Rs 10.75 crore with numbers getting better each day. The budget of Delhi Belly is Rs 24 crores (including production, print and publicity) which means the film has already recovered its investment. With the positive buzz surrounding the film, the collections in coming days should immensely add to the revenues. And we have not even counted the non-theatrical avenues.

Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap had a slow start on Friday but picked up over the weekend with major patronage from family audiences and Amitabh Bachchan fans. The opening weekend collection is around Rs 7.5 crores. Made in a controlled budget of approx Rs. 10 crores, the film has already recovered money through non-theatrical avenues. The satellite right has fetched the producers a whopping Rs 13.5 crores. So, overall Bbuddah... should be a profitable venture.

The coming week sees two very diverse genre releases. While Bhatts' Murder 2 caters to the adult audience with a staple dose of skin-show and sensationalism, UTV and Salman Khan's Chillar Party caters to the kids and young at heart. While Murder remains the most successful film from the Bhatt banner so far, it needs to be seen if the sequel can recreate the same magic at the box-office. Chillar Party promises to be one of those small-budget films which is big on story.

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has decided not to quit acting following the advice of Amitabh Bachchan.

The 55-year-old actor-politician had announced that he was bidding adieu to acting because of his involvement in politics but Bachchan convinced him otherwise.

"I will do my 150th film which will be directed by Puri Jagannath," Chiranjeevi announced at the premier of Bbuddha...hoga tera baap, starring Amitabh Bachchan and directed by Jagannath.

Interestingly, Bachchan offered to play a guest role in Chiranjeevi's next film, much to the cheer of the fans.

Another Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma said he was ready to direct Chiranjeevi in his 151st film, if he was willing to continue acting.

"Yes, I will act again. Puri Jagannath will direct the film," Chiranjeevi declared amidst loud cheers by scores of fans and film personalities present at the multiplex complex.

At the launch of UTV's Action Telugu movie channel two days ago, Chiranjeevi - who is now a member of Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly - said he would not act in films henceforth and the gap would be filled by his actor-son Ram Charan Tej.

Incidentally, Charan will be producing his father's 150th movie.

Chiranjeevi, who debuted in 1977 with Punadhirallu, has been part of critically and commercially hit films like Idi Katha Kaadu, Punnami Naagu, Subhalekha, Khaidi, Pasivadi Pranam, Hitler and Rudraveena.
