Tamannaah fans will be happy to hear that one of her Telugu films is going to be dubbed and released in Tamil.

Rachaa featuring Chiranjeevi's son, Ram Charan will be released in Tamil as Ragalai.

RB Choudhary and his Super Good Films are the producers. Earlier, Ram Charan's Magadheera was released in Tamil as Maaveeran.

Ragalai will also feature Parthiepan and Ajmal in pivotal roles.

Tamannaah was last seen in Venghai with Dhanush in Tamil. She is currently working on a bilingual with Ram which is also to be released in Tamil as Yen Endraal Kadhal Enben.

Producer KTVY Loganathan, who produced the recently released 3D adventure Ambuli is very happy about the way the film has been received.

The producer further expressed his excitement towards the amazing response that Ambuli has been receiving since day one of release. He further added that Ambuli's success has encouraged him to produce the film's sequel too.

Ambuli 3D, the first ever stereoscopic Tamil 3D film has been received very well with more positive reviews. The film that ended with a open climax for a possible sequel is now about to be materialized and the same producer of KTVR Creative Reels will produce this venture too.

While in Ambuli the directors Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar had only used the technical expertise to reach the public, in the second they are planning to rope in some top stars. While the first part was set in a village, the sequel will be set in a city.

The directors said that they will announce the lead star very soon.

Ambuli, for the first time in the history of Indian cinema, has released a motion poster. The specialty of this 3D flick is that viewers do not need to go to 3D theatres to watch the film as the 3D effect can be enjoyed in all theatres.

Vanessa Taylor, who is known for her work in films like Harry Potter, has worked in Ambuli as a DI Colorist.

Ambuli has been directed by Hari Shankar and Hareesh Narayan. It stars Parthiban in a pivotal role.

Mani Ratnam's next film has been entitled Kadal and will feature, Karthik's son Gautham and Radha's younger daughter, Thulasi. It will be remembered by Tamil cinema fans that Karthik and Radha made their debut with Bharathiraja's beloved film, Alaigal Oyvadillai and now their children will be making their entry into films together.

Mani also considered Akshara Haasan and R. Parthiepan's daughter, Keerthana who worked with Mani in Kannathil Muthamital. But finally it has been confirmed that Thulasi will be Mani's heroine. Arjun has also been roped in for this film.

Selvaraghavan has been toying with the idea of making a sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan for a very long time ever since the original was evidently wrapped with an open ended climax.

Although Selvaraghavan had said this long ago, his involvement in Mayakkam Enna kept him away from discussing the sequel for Ayirathil Oruvan.

"The sequel is still in its initial stages and the cast and crew have not been finalized yet," said Selva’s wife Gitanjali, who added that Selva may decide on the sequel to Ayirathil Oruvan Once Mayakkam Enna hits the screens.

Aayirathil Oruvan starring Karthi, Andrea, Reemma Sen alongside Parthiban released in 2010 to mixed reviews from critics, however it is undecidedly a milestone in Indian Cinema and the sequel is highly expected by one and all.

By now we all know that veteran director Bharathiraja is back in the village atmosphere, doing what he does best!

Bharathiraja is all set to begin his ambitious project Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum with actor Parthiban playing the lead role.

The film will have two leading ladies with one being Priyamani and Parvathy (of Poo fame) as another. However the latest buzz is that Priyamani has opted out of the project due to date hassles and newcomer Iniya (who made a dream debut in Vaagai Sooda Vaa) has been roped to play the lead.

Set in Madurai, Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum is a period film which runs through four decades: 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. The film will have Parthiban in a dual role with different get ups.

The director has also roped in young composer G.V. Prakash as the music director for the project. Since music plays an important role and has to reflect the respective periods.

G.V. Prakash is currently doing research on the kind of folk rural music in these four decades.

Interestingly, G.V. Prakash's uncle A.R. Rahman teamed up with the veteran director for Kizhakku Cheemayilae in 1993.

Actress Poorna's career has started to look very good lately and is very promising at present.

Poorna is Shakthi's heroine in Enna Solla Pogirai. Her film Vithagan opposite Parthiban is also nearing completion and is to be released soon.

This upcoming actress will also be seen in the film Karuvaachi that has her playing the title role opposite Akhil of Kalloori's fame as her leading man. She reported her role in Karuvaachi as a performance - oriented role that would exhibit her potential as an actress.

India’s first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi launched the audio and trailer of the Parthiban-starrer Vithagan.

On releasing the audio and trailer in a simple function attended by director AR Murugadoss, who received the first copy from her, Kiran Bedi said that she never attends film functions but she decided to attend this particular function because Parthiban plays a police officer in it.

Bedi recalled attending the audio launch of Vijayshanthi’s Karthavyam (dubbed as Vyjayanthi IPS in Tamil) several years ago and mentioned that to be the first film function that she had attended.

"The film deals with the life of a police officer and I thought it would be wonderful if Kiran Bedi launched the album of the film. She was in Chennai recently and I approached her for the same. However, she said she won't be in the city until October 9, the day we are planning to launch the album. So, we requested her to release the trailer and she gladly agreed. I think it's an honour to have the first women officer in the IPS be part of our film," said Parthipan.

In Vithagan, Parthiban plays the lead role and Poorna is his lead pair.
