The sequel of Happy Feet is about Mumble’s son Erik, who runs away in shame when he realizes that he can’t dance like his father. But the real problem arises only when Erik finds a new mentor in The Mighty Seven, a penguin who’s able to fly.
Elijah Wood and Robin Williams reprise their previous performances as Mumble and Ramon/Lovelace while Brad Pitt and Matt Damon are down to voice krill. Brittany Murphy, who originally voiced Mumble's love interest Gloria, was set to reprise her role and begin recording sometime in 2010, but her death on December 20, 2009 has rendered that impossible. Pop Singer Alecia Moore (Pink) appears to be Murphy's replacement and it is confirmed that she would also contribute a song.
Elizabeth Daily, who played young Mumble in the previous film, will play Mumble's choreo-phobic son Erik and SofÃa Vergara will also appear in the film as a new character.
Happy Feet Two directed by George Miller, who co-directed the original film Happy Feet would premiere on November 17, 2011 in RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.
