After the widely acclaimed success of Dabangg in 2010 featuring Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt is set to continue the trend of the cop role as Thakur Pritam Singh in the film Zilla Ghaziabad.
The character that Dutt is set to play is known for his unorthodox way of dealing with criminals. He would make criminals shoot other criminals rather than having to do the job himself. Sanjay is excited to play this role and is preparing to be the character in several ways, including changing his physical appearance.
Zilla Ghaziabadi is based on the true story of Thakur Pritam Singh. While this story includes graphic events dealing with criminals, and producer Vinod Bachchan said the film isn’t sparing any violent details. Sanjay is used to playing the villain in films but we also like Sanjay to play lovable roles as he did in Munnai Bhai.
