Everybody knows that Rajinikanth is Asia's biggest star and he has fans across the world so it has been decided that Kochadaiyaan should be a truly international film.

After months of pre-production and groundwork Kochadaiyaan went on floors recently. It is touted that the film is going to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, Japanese and other international languages meeting the demand that has aroused for the Superstar towards International Filmdom.

Although filming was being carried out, Rajini was not part of the crew until today to shoot his part at the AVM studios, Chennai. Rajini sought the blessings of Ganesha located inside the AVM Studios before attending the shoots. Accompanying him was the film's writer K.S Ravikumar. This was a hush hush affair and was rather kept under the wraps.

Kochadaiyaan is written by K.S Ravikumar and directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth is touted to be India's 1st film to be entirely shot using the 3D Performance Capture Technology (PCT).

Good News for the fans is that, Kochadaiyaan is the prequel of K.S. Ravikumar's much anticipated project Rana (shelved for now!, wonder if it is to be revived) and would likely be released in the month of August.
