Nayantara, one of the leading South Indian actresses called it a day.
On June 25th 2011, Nayantara had her last day in front of the camera at Ramoji Rao Film city in Hyderabad. She wrapped up the shoot of her most ambitious film Sri Rama Rajyam, a film in which she plays Sita the most revered character in Hindu mythology.
In an exclusive chat, Nayan said: "I consider Sri Rama Rajyam as a blessing and it will always remain a film close to my heart. The last day of shoot was indeed a very emotional moment for me, as my director Bapu sir, is a living legend and I consider working under him as a great experience".
Nayantara added that everyone in the unit from the assistant directors to light boys were like one big family and also presented gifts like watches and gold rings to her assistants bidding adieu to all with tears.
Meanwhile, when asked about her future plans, the actress smiles and preferred to keep a studious silence.
