The actress recently made a come back and was last seen shaking her leg and everything that could be, for an item song in Thamizh Padam, a 2010 Tamil-language spoof film written and directed by debutant C. S. Amudhan.Kasthuri disappeared since then and is now back after a break to play a pivotal role in director Selva’s Naanga.
"A teenage boy falls in love with me and how I make the infatuated lover realize his mistake forms the crux of the story," said Kasthuri, denying rumours aroused of her role being sleazy.
Naanga has five stories in one film and one such story features Kasthuri and a newcomer Uday, says the director. Plans are on to release the movie this December.
