Bollywood's ravishing diva and businesswoman Shilpa Shetty would be seen in a completely new avatar in her forthcoming film, an International venture titled 'The D#si#e'.The D#si#e, Written and directed by R Sarath is the first Indo-Chinese collaboration that stars Jaya Prada, Anupam Kher, Sheetal Menon, Sachin Khedekar, Aasif Sheikh with Chinese actor Xia Yu playing lead opposite Shilpa.
'The D#si#e' is said to be shot in the locales of Kerala, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh and also in Malaysia.
Shilpa Shetty features as a monk and has donned a bald look. Talking about her bald look, Shilpa revealed to sources that she in fact didn't shave her locks; instead opted for prosthetic make up, which used to take nearly three hours.
According to the actress, the film is done with its shoot and has been even shown at various international film festivals.
Interestingly it has won the Best Narrative at the Boston Film Festival and will be next screened at the New York Film Festival on August 24, 2011.
