The first trailer of the Vidya Balan starrer The Dirty Picture, based on the life of southern sire Silk Smitha, was unveiled today.
The first look of the film, released last week, showcased Vidya in a whole new suggestive avatar - that of Silk Smitha.
From the director of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Milan Luthria, The Dirty Picture is based on the tumultuous life of the late screen vamp ,Silk Smitha.
The film, also starring Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor, is reportedly a hard, realistic look at the life of one of Indian cinema's best-known item dancers.
