Aadhi, who delivered some great performances in films like Mirugam, Eeram and Aravaan is currently shooting at Chinchinada village, along the banks of the river Godaveri for Maranthen Mannithen, an upcoming bilingual film produced by Lakshmi Manchu.
The Telugu version of bilingual directed by Kumar Nagendra is titled 'Gundello Godari' and films cast features its producer Lakshmi Manchu as the lead protagonist for the first time with Taapsee Pannu, Sundeep Kishan, Suja Varunee and Mumaith Khan forming the rest of the cast.
While the shooting for the film was progressing with 250 technicians at hand and around 20 cameras been set up at a fishing village set erected across 21 acres of land, Aadhi and Lakshmi, the leading actors of the film met with a life threatening accident getting swept away by the force of the water for nearly 400 feet before the local fishermen could rescue them..
It was reported that the accident occured Some time after midnight when the crew was prepared to release water from the reservoir for a flood scene that was crucial to the movie.
The actors soon recovered from the accident once they were given medical attention.
