Actress Nithya Menen seen in films like Nootrenbathu and Veppam is in trouble as she may be banned from Malayalam films.Two of Nithya's Malayalam films 'Bachelor Party' and 'Ustad Hotel' have been directly affected.
Apparently the Producers Council slapped the ban on Nithya Menen when she refused to meet some producers who had dropped in to discuss a project with her while shooting for another Malayalam film 'Tatsamayam Oru Penkutty'.
However, the Actors Association and the exhibitors have stood by her saying that her behavior and conduct have been above reproach. They added that actors and films should not be punished over petty issues.
Looks like things are heating up in Kerala over this ban.
