Andrea will star in Pudhiya Thiruppangal, a hard-hitting movie about child trafficking, directed by Saradha Ramanathan whose 2007 movie Sringaram won three national awards.Saradha's upcoming film 'Pudhiya Thiruppangal' will deal with a 13 year old who becomes a victim of Human Trafficking and is sold to the sex trade.
The young girl is portrayed by Dharini and the director was in all praises of the role that has been performed to perfection.
Andrea plays a journalist who exposes the girl's plight. Madhu Ambat handles camera and Rajalakshmi is introduced as the editor in Pudhiya Thiruppangal.
"I researched a lot for the movie and worked with policemen who handled such cases. I left nothing for imagination on the subject and it will certainly be a hard-hitting film," declared Saradha being confident of her upcoming film.
