Sources in the Tinsel Town say that Veteran Director Mani Ratnam had signed up Lakshmi Manchu, daughter of Tollywood star Mohan Babu for his upcoming film. Lakshmi Manchu has acted in several Telugu films and is has also produced many Telugu films. She is now reportedly been signed for a prominent role in the film that Mani Ratnam is to direct, reports sources.
Further, there are rumors that Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor may play the female lead in the film. However, there is no official confirmation on this yet, either from the director or from the actress.
