At the audio launch of Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakumoolam, the film’s heroine Sonia Agarwal revealed that there were too many secrets in her life that she could not disclose publicly."Every actress’s life has secrets, joy and sorrow and I am not an exception," said Sonia Agarwal adding "The story of Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakumoolam is not similar to the Hindi films Heroine or The Dirty Picture," reiterating that her film although is about a star’s life bears no resemblance to her own life.
