There was rumor doing the rounds that Richa would be doing an item number in Prabhu Deva's Hindi remake of Siruthai titled 'Rowdy Rathore' with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.Richa was quick to deny the rumor and used the opportunity to stress that she is in the industry to do meaningful roles and item numbers are out of the question for her.
Richa added that she has no idea where the gossip came from as she does not know anyone associated with the film and is currently busy with her Telugu film with Prabhas and her Bengali debut with Prosenjit which coincidentally is also a remake of Siruthai.
