Sexy siren Yana has just ended her short relationship with her boyfriend Salman.
According to reports, Yana had been dating with him for the past six months. The two hit it off instantly on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and were spotted at several events hand-in hand as Yana introduced him to her industry friends and society celebs including the likes of Vijay Mallya.
“Until the show was on, things were fine and their relationship was cruising, but once it ended, it was difficult for them to maintain their relationship. Yana began her second innings in Bollywood, as offers kept pouring in. She is very serious about her career and the two hardly got time like earlier. This created a lot of differences and finally, a few days back, they parted ways,” reveals a source.
Actress Sona who made her debut as glamour girl became a glamorous producer by producing a film titled Kanimozhi that had Jai and Shazahn Padamsee in the lead in association with T Shiva of Amma Creations.
Now there is news that Sona is scripting the story, screenplay and dialogues for a new film that would be based on her own life. She has mentioned that she will be directing this film and has plans to cast Sonam Kapoor to do justice to her glamorous image.

Superstar Rajnikanth, who was rushed to the hospital on the day of his upcoming film Rana's muhurat shoot, has been hospitalised again. According to an NDTV report, the actor is suffering from allergic bronchitis and high fever and was brought to Isabela hospital in Chennai on Wednesday night.
According to the hospital officials, the actor's condition is stable but he'll be in the Intensive Care Unit for two days as a precautionary measure.
Rajni's family is present at the hospital and has appealed to fans not to throng the hospital premises as the actor has been advised rest by the doctors.
The actor was admitted to the same hospital last week when he complained of uneasiness on the sets of his upcoming film Rana. It was later diagnosed as a bout of dehydration and exhaustion.

As reported Abhishek Bacchan was dropped out from RGV’s ongoing project titled 'Department' and the reason behind it was said to be the poor performance of Abhishek in Dum Maro Dum. 
Though in the initial stage, Abhishek by himself politely said ‘NO’ to RGV’s project that started rolling last month, by acting promptly the angered first family of Bollywood to the ‘unprofessional attitude’ towards Dum Maro Dum, Amitabh decided not to be a part of RGV's project.
According to the sources “RGV started making uncharitable remarks on Dum Maro Dum and Amitabh Bachchan is no longer interested in working with a filmmaker who has meted out such worst treatment to his son”
Kamal Haasan has said that the Dada Saheb Phalke award for ace director K Balachander is long overdue. The star, who always says that he enjoys a father-son relationship with him, is happy that he is groomed by him.
Kamal revealed that KB sir changed his lifestyle completely when suffered a heart attack when he was around 40 and since then has been living a healthy life. While wishing him a long life, the star requested him to consider new stories, though he is not making films, and advise the newbies on making films.
It is interesting to note that Kamal has said that his favorite roles, which are directed by KB sir, are the ones from films that did not do well at the box office.
Looks like Rajini’s fans are not going to take the mockery made by Vadivelu on the film Rana lightly. It may be mentioned here that Vadivelu had replied “Ranavavadhu… Ganavavadhu…” when media persons asked him why he was not in the film.

Noted actor and magician, Alex, breathed his last at a private hospital in Chennai yesterday, May 1st 2011. He was 52. He entered the filmdom with the Rajinikanth starrer Valli and since then had acted in several Tamil films as character artiste and villain.
Alex’s name entered the Guinness Book of World Records for making magic continuously for 24 hours. His name also features in the Limca Book of World Record of creating magic for 12 hours continuously.
Apart from these honors, Alex was also honored with a doctorate and several awards including the Chevalier Award.
News about the Thevar community’s unhappiness towards the title of Vikram’s upcoming movie ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ has been in the media for long. Before the team could relent and find a suitable title to replace the original, the Thevar group and Forward block party held protests in front of Vikram’s house in Thiruvanmiyur today morning.
Headed by Muthiah hundreds of people held protests stating that naming a character with developmental disability as ‘Deiva Thirumagan’ undermines and insults their leader Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar. Once the protests started Vikram notified the police who came there and arrested many for causing disturbance. Vikram has sought police protection for his house until the case which is currently going on in Madurai high court comes to a conclusion. During all this commotion the producer Mohan Natarajan announced that the movie title has been changed to ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ ( U gotta be kiddin !).
Handsome actor Srikanth despite his good looks and talent has failed to make it big in the Tamil film industry. But the actor is now being directed by hit-maker Shankar in the film Nanban which also stars Vijay, Jiiva, Ileana and Satyaraj. The actor has signed his next film and it has been titled Ethiri En.3.
Srikanth is excited about this movie and says that the script is very novel and that he is happy to have signed the dotted line. Ethiri En.3 is scripted and is to be directed by debutant Ram Kumar and is produced by Sixth sense production house. The film is touted to be a crime thriller and will start rolling from the 11th of May. We hope this movie gives Srikanth the much deserved break!
After several speculations and options, Vikram and Vijay finally settled upon the title Deiva Thirumagan for their upcoming movie. Barely days after this title was announced people of the Thevar community demanded the title to be changed for it derogates their loved leader Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar who was fondly known as Deiva Thirumagan. The Shiva Sena also joined hands with the Thevar community and demanded the makers to change the title.
Deciding to put an end to all the problems, the director Vijay and Vikram have now changed the name to ‘Deiva Thirumagal’. With this we hope the film does not run into any more problems and gets a smooth release by the end of May. Deiva Thirumagal stars Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul, Nasser and MS Baskar among several others.
Ileana had earlier angered the makers of the Telugu film Shakthi by not attending the film’s promotions. Sources in Tollywood say that the actress is not happy over the way Shakthi was made as several scenes in the film were changed to suit the lead star Junior NTR.
Further, Ileana did not get along well with Junior NTR during the shoots as they were at loggerheads all through. It is even stated that the actor has refused to share the screen space with Ileana henceforth.
The director of Shakthi has said that Ileana’s behavior, by not attending the film’s promotion, is not a good practice. The director added that he has plans to complain about the actress to the Producers’ Council and Actors’ Association.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi visited Rajinikanth at the St Isabel’s Hospital in Chennai in which the star was admitted. The Superstar was admitted to the hospital after he complained of queasiness while on the sets of Rana. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctors diagnosed him of being dehydrated and advised him complete rest.
The CM, on hearing Rajini’s health condition, rushed immediately to the hospital to enquire about his health. Karunanidhi’s daughter Kanimozhi was also present during this visit.
It may be recalled that Rajini suffered a bout of vomiting when he was shooting for Rana at the AVM Studios and the shooting had to be stalled to rush Rajini to the hospital.
Sasikumar and Samuthirakani, who won a lot of critical acclaim for Nadodigal are in Theni for a shoot. It is a fight sequence that is being canned for their film, Poraali, which is being produced by Sasikumar.
In the film 'Poraali' , Sasikumar plays a rebel who is not afraid to fight for a cause, which explains all the fighting he is doing in Theni and the director says that the film is progressing rapidly.
Samuthirakani had written this script for this even Nadodigal and it is a project that he is proud of as it is a proper blend of humor, action and emotions that will strike the right notes with the audience.
Atharva’s next film with Amala Paul, Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal is currently being shot in Chennai. This is the third schedule for the film and director Ganesh Vinayak is very happy with it so far and is particularly pleased with the work of his hero, Atharva, who he says is very talented and hard-working.
The film was delayed as the young actor has had a lot to deal with, following the untimely death of his father, actor Murali but now his portions are being filmed quickly. However, Atharva has been very cooperative and professional and is sure to go places.
The music is by G V Prakash and the buzz is that there are some superb tracks in this movie. A major portion of the film will be shot in Chennai all though some of the song sequences may be shot in Kerala and New York. The director is enthused about his offering and is keeping his fingers crossed.
