Taapsee has started working on Vishnuvardhan's multistarrer with Ajith, Nayanthara and Arya.

The actor says that despite the huge star cast there are no ego hassles and there is a great vibe on the sets. She revealed that the director has given every character due importance and they will all be memorable so there is no pressure on any one.

Taapsee said it was hard to believe but Ajith despite being such a huge star is very simple. The actor along with Arya and Nayanthara went out their way to make sure that she was comfortable.

Taapsee said that she and Arya had great fun while working together and she has nothing but respect for Nayantara who made sure that her junior co - star was well looked after.

Vishnuvardhan's yet to titled film with an ensemble starcast of Ajith, Nayantara, Taapsee and Arya in the lead was rumored to have been titled 'Surangani' as per earlier reports.

It was recently clarified that the title for the film is still in discussion and that the makers of the film would make an official announcement once the the same has been finalized.

This untitled Vishnuvardhan project already promises to be huge as he has had successful collaborations with Ajith, Arya and Nayanthara in the past.

Taapsee confessed on Twitter about being nervous and excited about beginning work on her 14th film that she is all kicked and geared up to shoot. Given the high voltage nature of the project, the gorgeous actor mentioned that she felt butterflies in her stomach like that of a debutante.

Vishnuvardhan’s shoot for 'Surangani' is happening at a fiery pace and Ajith has already started making the city go abuzz with his new looks.

Though there were rumours that Ajith is playing the role of a hacker, the makers have denied such reports.

Now the news is that actor Suman Ranganathan making a come back into acting in films with this much awaited film and is playing the role of a nosy journalist. Nayantara, Arya, Taapsee, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar and Rana Daggubatti are also playing pivotal roles in the film.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film and P.S Vinod is behind the lens with Nayantara and Keerthana Parthipan assisting Vishnuvardhan in the direction department.

The film can be expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.

Ajith is getting slim and trim for his next movie with Vishnuvardhan and his gym workout stills have received widespread response from his fans.

Even his co-star in the film Nayanthara, is amazed by the star's looks.

Nayantara admits that Ajith looks the same as he was in 2007 when they worked together in Billa, and that he has become slimmer.

The actor who is making a come back with Vishnuvardhan's 'Surangani' opposite Ajith feels that her co-star is still youthful and admires the star for his dedication and commitment towards his profession.

Taapsee, the Punjabi girl who impressed us all with films like Aadukalam & Vandhan Vendran is currently shooting in Ladakh for her Telugu film with Gopichand that is being directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti.

A professional of an actor that she is, Tapsee has been communicating with her beloved fans for a very long time via the micro-blogging website Twitter.

The actor has been tweeting every now and then keeping her fans updated about her experience while shooting at Ladakh.

A short while earlier, a Buzkashi sequence was filmed. Buzkashi is the National sport of Afghanistan played on horseback.

Taapsee was reported to have been apprehensive initially but later chose to give in her best and enjoyed the adrenaline rush. It was a risky sequence given the altitude they were shooting at and the number of horses used.

The lovely lass whose future Tamil projects include Maranthein Mannithein and Vishnuvardhan's next with Ajith has now tweeted about her latest adventure in Ladakh.

Karthika has proved to be one gutsy young lady walking out of Sundar C's next film with Vishal, Madha Gadha Raja AKA MGR. The rookie's move may have stunned the industry but Sundar C, the veteran who is riding high after the success of Kalakalappu has opted to rope in Taapsee Pannu for the role without wasting any time.

"The script was revised and my character had no scope to perform than merely be a glam doll. Moreover a second heroine had also been included," said Karthika about opting out of MGR.

"I would work with Sundar C in the future if he came up with something interesting," she added.

Sundar C's MGR has been confirmed to be a two - heroine project and the other heroine's part is likely to go to Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar who is making her debut with Poda Podi or a newcomer.

Taapsee seems intent on making it big in the Tamil Industry and has accepted the role that was earlier turned down by Hansika and Karthika. The actor was recently in news, when she landed a role in Vishnuvardhan's film with Ajith, Arya and Nayantara. MGR will be the second hot film that Taapsee has signed in succession.

Ajith starrer 'Billa II' is scheduled to release on 15th June,2012 and the actor is all set to start shooting for his next project with director Vishnuvardhan, a yet to be titled film that would also have Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee in the lead roles.

The 'Billa' actor recently signed up for a film with director Siva of 'Siruthai' fame with Nagi Reddy's Vijaya Productions. With reports suggesting that the film will be a Tamil remake of the Telugu film 'Daruvu', there is a lot of curiosity surrounding this project.

'Daruvu,' a Ravi Teja starrer also directed by Siva is an out and out masala entertainer and falls in the socio-fantasy genre in the lines of Superstar Rajinikanth's yesteryear film 'Athisaya Piravi (1990)'.

Siva's last Tamil outing 'Siruthai' with Karthi in the lead was also a remake of Ravi Teja's 'Vikramakoodu' that went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Clearly Ravi Teja is a lucky charm for director Siva!

Ajith's yet to be titled project directed by Vishnuvardhan has added another star cast to its list.

Actor Ashwin, who played a cop in 2011s Ajith starrer 'Mankatha' will be seen in a significant role in the movie. Apparently, Ashwin's inclusion in the movie is based on Ajith's recommendation it is learnt.

Vishnuvardhan has managed to rope in an ensemble star cast including Arya, Nayantara and Tapsee for the movie.

The movie will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and produced by A.M Ratnam and Raghuram.

Vishnuvardhan is all set to begin his multi-starrer with Ajith, Arya and Nayanthara this month.

The Pre-production work for this yet to titled film is almost complete and the first look of the film can be expected anytime soon.

The latest to join this starry bandwagon produced by A.M Rathnam of Sri Surya Movies is the tantalizing Taapsee, who along with Nayantara is expected to scorch the screen on fire with their glamor and sex appeal.

Even before this project has taken off from the starting line, it has generated truckloads of hype and hoopla thanks to the high octane cast.

The makers are hoping to release this film for Diwali.

Aadhi, who delivered some great performances in films like Mirugam, Eeram and Aravaan is currently shooting at Chinchinada village, along the banks of the river Godaveri for Maranthen Mannithen, an upcoming bilingual film produced by Lakshmi Manchu.

The Telugu version of bilingual directed by Kumar Nagendra is titled 'Gundello Godari' and films cast features its producer Lakshmi Manchu as the lead protagonist for the first time with Taapsee Pannu, Sundeep Kishan, Suja Varunee and Mumaith Khan forming the rest of the cast.

While the shooting for the film was progressing with 250 technicians at hand and around 20 cameras been set up at a fishing village set erected across 21 acres of land, Aadhi and Lakshmi, the leading actors of the film met with a life threatening accident getting swept away by the force of the water for nearly 400 feet before the local fishermen could rescue them..

It was reported that the accident occured Some time after midnight when the crew was prepared to release water from the reservoir for a flood scene that was crucial to the movie.

The actors soon recovered from the accident once they were given medical attention.

She's started her career with a National-award winning film in Tamil (Aadukalam) and has also acted in a handful of commercial flicks in Telugu.

Her acting prowess has been widely appreciated by both critics and the audience. Despite all this, Taapsee has always had a complaint - none of the album CD covers of her films have featured her. That's until the music of her second Tamil film, Vandhaan Vendraan with Jiiva, hit stands.

An excited Taapsee tweeted, "It's been six releases for me in my career so far. But only now, in my 7th release, it has happened that my picture appeared on CD cover. Thanks (director) Kannan sir!" Now, we know why you're grinning from ear-to-ear girl!

Taapsee is done with Vandaan Vendraan. Jiiva had already finished his portions and only a song with Taapsee remained. It is being shot today at VGP.

Once it is done, the unit will be having a little farewell party to celebrate the completion of their film and the effort that has gone into it.

Director Kannan who did films like Jayam Kondan and Kanden Kadhalai is trying his hand at a new genre with this film. It is going to be a crime thriller with great action. Nanda is the villain in this film and Santhanam will be providing the comic relief. The film was shot in Mumbai, Goa, Turkey, and the jungle belts in the Western Ghats.

All eyes are on Jiiva as he is having a great year career wise. Taapsee's first film in Tamil won the National award and she says that VV will get her the love of audiences.

Taapsee is very fond of her little sister, Shagun Pannu, who is currently in college. Since Shagun also has dreams of making it as an actress, Taapsee has decided to help her out. After, all she has done very well for herself in the film industry having delivered big hits in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The icing on the cake of course is David Dhawan's Hindi film in which she has a good role. In addition to this, she is working in a couple of Telugu films and has Vandhan Vendraan with Jiiva.

Shagun has done a little modelling, so she is no stranger to the camera. Taapsee is looking out for the perfect launch pad which will present her sister properly.

Taapsee also feels that it will be the safest to introduce Shagun with one of the biggest stars of the day. We must say, Taapsee seems to be the perfect big sister.

Tapasee PannuActress Taapsee who donned the role of an Anglo Indian girl 'Irene' opposite Dhanush in 'Adukalam' didn't fail to enthrall her Tamil audience and is ready to do the magic again with Jiiva in the film 'Vandhan Vendran'.

This film is being directed by debutant director Kannan and at this point of time Taapsee is learning the Tamil language in order to speak in her own voice for this and her forthcoming Tamil films.

She while speaking about this said,” After Aadukalam, Vandhan Vendran has created a lots of expectations. In this film I am donning a very good role and the news about me demanding more salary is no truth as I'm only demanding the salary I deserve. The Telugu film 'Mr Perfect' in which I have acted is having a good response. I have dubbed in my own voice. I want to dub in Tamil in my own voice for Tamil also. I'm learning the language now and am able to understand Tamil when others speak. I will speak Tamil with ease in a short span of time.”

Tapsee has signed her first Bollywood film. Directed by David Dhawan, the movie is a remake of the 1981 comedy flick 'Chashme Baddoor'.

"Superb ugadi gift! Yes, I'm doing David Dhawan's movie under viacom18's production! It's a remake of 'Chashme Baddoor'. Yay!!!!", Tapsee posted on Twitter.

"Tapsee is something special and different from the typical assembly-line heroines. Her sex appeal lies in her freshness and innocence and that makes her perfect for the role," said David Dhawan.

Currently, Tapsee is busy with two Telugu films: 'Mr. Perfect' and 'Veera'. She recently signed a Malayalam film as well.
