Bharath pins his hopes on 555

Bharath is very excited about his next film 555, directed by Sasi who is known for films like Rojakootam and Poo.

555 has been in the making for over a year and the reason is that Sasi wanted a certain look for Bharath and that he has been working very hard to deliver the goods.

Famed for his roles in Kadhal, Veyil, and Pattiyal Bharath will be looking to establish himself along this line with 555.

After films like Vaanam, Yuvan Yuvathi and the recent, Aravaan failed to give his career a boost, Bharath has his hopes pinned on 555. The makers are keeping his looks a secret and sources say that it is going to be awesome.

Sneha Ullal debuts with Samaran

Actress Sneha Ullal has been looking forward to make her debut in Tamil for a very long time. She was expected to be a part of the ensemble cast of Vanam that had STR, Bharath, Vega Tamotia, Jasmin Bhasin and Anushka Shetty. However her dreams didn't materialize until now.

Recent news confirm that Sneha is to make her Tamil debut with Vishal's next titled Samaran that also stars Trisha Krishnan.

Trisha, who had previously declined four of Vishal's films — Sathyam, Thoranai, Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai and Vedi would finally be starring opposite Vishal for the first time.

Vishal had earlier confirmed that his next project Samaran is directed by Thiru, with whom he had collaborated before in Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai. He went on to add that the same technical crew of Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai, including its music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, would be retained for the film, and that it would be completed within four months.

Sneha, now with her dream coming true considers this to be a shot in the arm as she holds Southern films dearer than Hindi films.

Shweta Menon who was last seen in Naan Avan Illai 2 will be returning to Tamil screens with Aravaan directed by Vasanthabalan.

Shweta will be starring alongside Aadhi, Pasupathi, Kabir Bedi, Bharath, Dhansika, and Anjali.

The actress who got hitched earlier this year is upbeat about her role.

Shweta plays a prostitute in the film but clarifies that there will be no sleaziness involved as the director has shot everything in an aesthetic manner.

The audio and trailer launch of Aravaan took place at the Anna Centenary Library Auditorium in Chennai. The audio was released by Oscar winner A R Rahman and director Mani Ratnam.

Speaking at the event, A R Rahman said that the songs showcased in the function had created an urge in him to concentrate in Tamil films. The film’s debut music director, singer Karthik had a special word of praise for A R Rahman for making it to the function.

Mani Ratnam said that one of the wonderful film industries in India is Kollywood as it is replete with talents in all departments of filmmaking.

Aravaan’s director Vasanthabalan thanked all those who attended the function and narrated the efforts put in for making this period flick.

Earlier, Amma Creations T Siva welcomed the gathering and praised Aadhi, Pasupathy, Bharath, Dhansika and Archana Kavi for their performances.

Anjali has a supporting role in Vasantha Balan's film Aravaan. She will be playing Bharath's love interest in the film.

Aadhi is the lead actor and Dhansika is his heroine.

Kabir Bedi, Pasupathy, Sweta Menon are the other actors who will be rounding out this stellar cast.

The Angadi Theru actress has come in for a lot of praise for her performance in Engeyum Eppothum with Jai.

Bharath is one of the talented actors in Kollywood who started his career with the sensational film Boys more than eight years ago.

Although he was well received with Boys smashing several records, Bharath established himself as an actor with another film Kadhal that later on was declared to be a big hit.

In his recentl film Vaanam, Bharath had an important role to play and the actor has now made shocking revelations during the making of this film.

A source close to Bharath said that the actor felt that he was sidelined in the promotions of ‘Vaanam‘, and all the attention was given to Simbhu that had upset and angered Bharath.

Bharath himself said that, “Before accepting the offer, I was told that the cast of Vaanam has Simbhu, Anushka, Prakashraj and Sonia Agarwal alongside with equal importance given to everybody in the cast.

But to my shock, I realized that I was fooled only during the release of the film,” said the actor.

Bharath is however very confident that all his future films like Yuvan Yuvathi, Thiruthani and 555 will be good films and he would not have bitter experience again.

The source revealed that Bharath has been working very hard for the success of these films and to establish himself as a big star.

After the success of Vaanam, Bharath is currently working in 555 being directed by Sasi of Poo fame. Bharath says this film will be a milestone in his career and will go on to win him critical as well as popular acclaim.

Bharath says that Sasi has come up with a wonderfully etched script that is sure to be well received. He will soon be seen in Yuvan Yuvathi and in a cameo with Aadhi in Aaravan. The actor says that he is very pleased with the way his career is going and touches wood with a smile.

Aasma in Hindi ?

Director Krish made Vedam in Telugu and the film was a huge success. STR saw it and was so impressed that it was remade in Tamil as 'Vaanam' with him in the lead. A few minor changes were made to suit the Tamil audience and the movie made a splash.

Now a leading Bollywood producer has expressed interest in making the movie in Hindi with a fresh cast. Krish will be the director for the third time and is thrilled with the reception to his film and says that its universal theme has helped it to transcend the language barrier.

The director is lapping up the appreciation coming his way and is finalizing the cast with some minor changes in the Hindi script to suit the Hindi audience.

Spunky Vega

Model turned actress Vega first came into the limelight with her breakthrough performance in Saroja and Pasanga. The actress who is not scared to experiment has her next outing as an actress with Vaanam.

The spunky actress will play Lasya, a member of a rock music group originally played by Lekha Washington in the Telugu version.

Vega says her character is a challenging one and she is not worried about getting lost in the multi-starrer with the likes of Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka, Prakash Raj, and Sonia Agarwal among others.

Though it is a small role, it is well fleshed out and will be remembered, she says. As far as her career is concerned, Vega is happy to take it slow and pick only good roles.

Crowd Puller . .

Young superstar Silambarasan-Bharath starrer ‘Vaanam’ was supposed to hit screens before a month, but was delayed due to unknown reasons. Now as everything gets ready, the producers are having problems in getting theatres.

Due to the grand success of KO, the theatre owners have refused to shift the film to small screens in their theaters. Apparently, This has troubled the producers on their ability of cashing during the 1st weekend and has caused a lot of confusion amongst fans if Vaanam would release as expected.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has already delivered best songs for the film with a list of hit numbers that has already become a chart buster.

Vaanam is a multi-starrer project with the film revolving around five parallel stories with STR, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Sonia Agarwal and Jasmine Bhasin playing lead roles. The remake has Anushka reprising the same role from the original that turned out to be a crowd puller and the same is to be repeated yet again.

While everything go well as planned except for the availability of theaters Simbu has stated that the movie would release as planned making no exceptions.
