Glam girl, Namitha brought in her 31st birthday on 10th May, 2012 with fans at the BIG FM (92.7 FM) studios. She interacted with her fans through an exclusive show called "Anything for Machans".

The sexy lass talked about her journey to stardom and the heights her career and mentioned of her return to Tamil films with Sakthi Chidambaram's 'Machan'.

The voluptuous actor cut a her 31st birthday cake in front of the packed studio audience and chose five lucky fans for a special gift and greeting card signed by her.

Namitha said that it had been a memorable birthday for her and thanked all her fans (machans) across the globe for all their love and affection.

'Machan' as the name suggests is an upcoming comedy directed by Sakthi Chidambaram with Karunas and Vivek in the lead. The director is producing for the film himself under his banner 'Cinema Paradise' since the 2010 comedy Guru Sishyan.

Sakthi Chidambaram has roped in Sheryl Pinto, who appeared in Arasangam and Vaadaa to play the lead heroine opposite Karunas after having associate with other buxom actresses like Namitha and Sruthi Prakash AKA Hema Malini in his previous ventures.

Speaking of buxomness, the director ended all aroused speculations revealing that actress Namitha, who has appeared in several of his previous films is being closely associated with 'Machan' and is playing a pivotal role in the film romancing Vivek after a brief period of action.

While announcing the cast of the film Sakthi Chidambaram announced that he would also be acting in the film alongside his duties as director and producer bringing Kannada Actor Ramesh Aravind back to Tamil films since Manmadan Ambu (2010).

Ajith Kumar's Billa II is now considered one of the biggest films of the year and this was proved when the overseas rights of the film was purchased for a million dollars by GK Media, a Tamil film distribution company that operates out of the United States of America.

With this staggering feat, Ajith joins the likes of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Suriya whose films have hitherto been sold overseas for the same amount.

Namitha had a meaty role in the Ajith starrer Billa, though Nayanthara was the main female lead.

Wishing Billa II team all success, Namitha said that she wanted to be a part of the film but unfortunately it did not happen.

Billa II was initially to be directed by Vishnuvardhan but the project fell on the hands of Chakri Toleti who is now directing the film with Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah playing Ajith’s lead pairs in this film.

Billa II had music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Sona's role as an actress in Ko fetched her acclaims. But it apparently also earned her the wrath of Namitha, on whom it's reportedly modelled.

Certain sections of the media had reported that Sona had sent an SMS to Namitha, asking her if she was upset with her. And Namitha had apparently replied saying it was OK and asked Sona not to call her again.

When CT contacted Sona, she said, "I did send an SMS to Namitha, telling her the role was a fictious one and I was just acting in it. I told her I had nothing personal against her. But she didn't respond. But I didn't try calling her."

Meanwhile, the actress is keen to make an autobiopic. "The film will be based on certain incidents that happened in my life. It will cover three stages in my life and I will be playing the lead in one of them. I want a reputed director to handle the project sensitively. But it will go on floors only after I complete 2010 Bhagyaraj with Premji and another film with Venkat Prabhu," she informed.

Even if you are a die-hard fan of Namitha, the diva from south, don't expect too much from this film. There is nothing titillating in this film except for a song or two that exhibits her dancing skills.

Jayasimha Reddy, who is the director, scriptwriter and the music composer of the film, comes across as a sloppy technician who has absolutely no idea about filmmaking.

It is easy to pinpoint many mistakes in each shot but that process would go on endlessly.

While Reddy is a culprit here, the cameraman's fault too cannot be understated. And with a bunch of bad actors, "Namitha I Love You" makes you feel helpless. It is sheer anarchy that goes on in the name of narration.

Sunanda is a yoga teacher who has joined the LOVE college (Loyala Oriental Versatile Education College) to reform the sex-starved students.

She teaches them the importance of studying first, and craving about other things later. The reformed students pass-out with flying colours, and Sunanda bids them an emotional farewell.

Alternatively, another love track is progressing which ends in a tragic note.

Namitha wears skimpy clothes only for a dance sequence, and performs a little bit of action as well. However, her attempts to have an image recast through this film flounders because of the poor script.

Some of the actors repeatedly get the expressions wrong while the rest of the star cast is wooden faced.

The film's technical side is again a letdown and makes it look as if it's made on a shoe-string budget.

Please avoid this film at any cost.

Was she in hiding! Namitha's fans were missing her for sure. But no sweat. The actress will be back on big screen with a slimmer look as she plays a yoga teacher in the film which is titled after her name, Namitha I Love You.

What can be a bigger treat for Namitha’s lovers than a film named after her? After a long time her film will be releasing in Telugu. Yes, the lady is charged with oomph and looking hot in the film. She is even sporting a starry tattoo on her back.

But what surprises us more than the movie’s name is Namitha’s slimmer avatar. Though she flaunts her curves and is looking voluptuous, her body is in a better shape. She has also tried to look different with various hairstyles and jazzy clothes.

You can catch your favourite Namitha in "Namitha I Love You" this May.
