After having worked in an international project, Dam 999 - Actress Vimala Raman is all set to debut in Bollywood.
Vimala Raman one of the promising actresses who failed to click in Kollywood is now all set for her Bollywood debut opposite Govinda in Afra Tafari, a situational comedy, directed by Haad Ali Abbrar. Confirming this news, her spokersperson said: "Yes, Vimala will start shooting for her role in the film from July 17. She is being paired opposite Govinda in the film, which also stars several Bollywood biggies like Suniel Shetty, Arya Babbar, Gulshan Grover and Mugdha Godse.
Apparently, Vimala met Suniel Shetty during the IPL season in Hyderabad and the two got talking about their careers. When Suniel heard about her work, he was impressed and introduced her to the director of the film.
The spokesperson said that Vimala is looking forward to start work on the project. It's a typical Govinda film with a high dose of comedy.
Vimala is very happy that her character has a lot of depth and will give her the scope to perform. Looks like Vimala, who has a string of films lined up for release in Tollywood, is all set to make a mark in B-town as well!
